Think he's not on the payroll of any industry segment - ranging from renewal energy people or big oil. If he was in the pocket of the renewable energy crowd he'd (supposedly) be telling us that climate change is real. At the same time he's saying that climate change is a hoax but he's not being paid to say that by big oil or anyone else.
