Musk may be a talented industrialist.
Few if any sensible critics condemn Musk for working to reduce waste, fraud, abuse. BUT !!
Musk's conspicuously, deliberately destructive methods are doing incalculable harm to government, nation, and People of the United States.
It is at best pure ignorant delusion that a simple apology can reverse this harm. "Once bitten, twice shy."
Philanthropically motivated citizens that may otherwise have sought a career in U.S. public service either as a civilian, or military, now because of Musk's mangling may decide otherwise.
Thus not only may the quality of our public servants be degraded from now on.
But as global dangers fester in the Middle East, China, & elsewhere our U.S. military may suffer as well.
The result:
while Musk's machinations delight Republicans, they may also be sowing the seed of the end of the U.S.
