10 Lies TERFs Want You to Believe
(And Why Every One of Them Is a Weapon in Disguise)

If you thought they were done lying, think again.

The anti-trans movement has more smoke and mirrors than a Las Vegas magic show. Behind every sweet-sounding concern is another barbed wire trap. These are not just casual misunderstandings. They are carefully engineered talking points designed to .....

The irony is this article is 35 years old but for the most part could’ve been written today. Expecially after this Supreme Court ruling! Simply put, the law is trying to go backwards. It’s deeply concerning.

However, back then we fought to have rights - today we’re fighting to keep them.

Back then we fought for visibility - now we’re more visible than ever. Conversations about gender identity, non-binary identities, and pronoun respect are part of public discourse.

While the themes of our struggles are similar, the context has changed. Let’s not forget that progress always meets resistance. Everything going on right now is a reaction to how much progress we’ve made.

As I said previously, we live lives of vigilance, having never had the freedom to be complacent. It’s part of why we’re strong and no one has ever been able to take that away from us and never will!

"It has become common practice for states to violate federal law in the name of diversity," Erika Sanzi, senior director of communications at Defending Education, told Fox News Digital.

"With so many ideological bullies in state government and in our schools, cowardice and ignorance have ruled the day for far too long. State laws, regulations and practices that promote (and even require) race and sex-based discrimination must be exposed and eliminated. It's time that every state cleans up the mess they've made in the name of DEI."

"You don't have to be that gung-ho on trans rights to realize that a world where girls' genitals need to be inspected before they can play any sport is worse for girls than a world where once in a while there's a trans girl on a girls' team." EU #994
EU,
Your ostensible defense of a marginalized minority might seem noble, perhaps heroic.
But your reasoning lacks continuity, evidently the consequence of failing to have a more persuasive argument.

The inspection of genitalia is standard at birth, the inspection results disclosed on the birth certificate.
That disclosure is widely regarded as non-expiring, thus re-inspection generally a non-issue.

In the rare exceptional case of a status change, utilitarian standards have been applied.
Rather than punishing a competitor, a team, or a league with a genetic ringer, current practice seems to be to
attempt to adhere to pre-trans standards.

Public sentiment evolves. The popularity of alternatives in flux.

"... a world where girls' genitals need to be inspected before they can play any sport is worse for girls than a world where once in a while there's a trans girl on a girls' team." EU #994
Subjectively perhaps.
But when stated as a fact, it is nearer a falsehood.

"Birth certificates can be updated." S2 #997
Indeed, based on updated information, such as that obtained by re-inspection. BUT !!
Whether right or wrong, current practice seems to be to presume a congruency of genital configuration and sex, binary male or female.
As you well know, within a human population of 8,000,000,000 not all naturally conform to this binary standard.
"The Devil's in the details."
The issue is not how to deal with the mainstream population trends, but instead
how to respond to individuals whose status is changed by artificial means.

"And transgirls are girls." S2 #997
It's complicated.
One example will suffice.
Post-puberty, sexual diversification accentuates differences. Males typically have superior upper body strength than females. BUT !!
They're overlapping bell-curves. The most muscular woman has strength superior to that of the least muscular man.

"And transgirls are girls." S2 #997
Indeed.
Perhaps the additional scrutiny is to address concerns that pre-transition gender superiority has not survived transition.

"Birth certificates can be updated." S2 #997

Indeed, based on updated information, such as that obtained by re-inspection.
Not quite - gender markers can be changed if someone transitions.

To change the gender marker on a birth certificate, you must apply to the vital records office of the province or state where you were born, providing supporting documents like a letter from a doctor or psychologist. The specific process, forms, and requirements vary by jurisdiction, but generally involve submitting a formal application, a supporting letter, a statutory declaration, and paying all applicable fees.

#999 addresses the administrative procedure for reflecting transition.

Though we may wish administrative documentation to most accurately reflect categorization,
the issue EU #994 introduces:
"You don't have to be that gung-ho on trans rights to realize that a world where girls' genitals need to be inspected before they can play any sport ..." EU #994
What's the alternative?
A human born male claims to be female, and we accept the claim as truth, without verification?
