They created the shutdown. They couldn't fund TSA. They let workers go unpaid. And they still had their own private airline desk. Delta just shut it down.

Delta Air Lines suspended special services for members of Congress, citing the government shutdown. Lawmakers will now be treated like regular passengers based on SkyMiles status, not elected office.

The suspended perks include airport escorts, red coat assistance, and a dedicated desk that let lawmakers get government rates, make last-minute changes, and book multiple flights daily. The decision came days after the Senate unanimously voted to end Congress members' ability to skip TSA lines — a perk most Americans didn't know existed.

The shutdown is now in its second month. TSA workers have received $0 paychecks, and over 400 agents have quit. TSA callout rates hit 40% at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson, where travelers were told to allow four hours for security. "It's difficult, if not impossible, to put food on the table when you are not getting paid," airline executives wrote to Congress earlier this month.

Step 1 - Create a crisis
Step 2 – Double down and tell everyone how great it is.
Step 3 – When it turns to crap reverse crisis you created.
Step 4 - Take all the credit.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Step 5 - blame Biden/Obama/Hillary

'No Kings' protest begin nationwide with flagship rally in Minnesota

Demonstrators across the country and the globe are protesting Trump at more than 3,000 planned events.

Throngs of protesters gathered Saturday in cities across the country as demonstrators launched a third round of "No Kings" protests against the Trump administration's policies, with the flagship rally in St. Paul, Minnesota, the site of this winter's immigration enforcement operation in which two Americans were killed.
Organizers say millions are expected to gather in the U.S. and around the world in what they predict will be the “single largest non-violent day of action” in American history.

DHS funding lapse is now the longest government shutdown in U.S. history

The partial shutdown — the rest of the federal government is being funded — hit a record 44th day on Sunday.

“A shutdown falls on the president's lack of leadership. He can't even control his party and get people together in a room. A shutdown means the president is weak” Donald Trump 2013

... a building conceived of by an idiot has also been designed by idiots.

BREAKING: LOOOOOOOOL! The New York Times ROASTS Trump’s crappy ballroom design, pointing out all the flaws and nonsensical choices in an absolutely brutal analysis!

“Trump’s Ballroom Design Has Barely Been Scrutinized” booms the headline of the New York Times’ analysis of Trump’s obsession, the enormous ballroom he’s building next to the White House. “Architects say it shows.”

You won’t be surprised to learn that a building conceived of by an idiot has also been designed by idiots.

The New York Times points out that the building is full of ornamental stairs that don’t go anywhere, there are faux windows with bathroom stalls behind them, its columns will block views from inside the ballroom, and it is – of course – unnecessarily big.

The White House driveway, planned by the famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted will have to be rerouted to accommodate this monstrosity, breaking its symmetry, all to accommodate a southern portico that the architect admits is more “ornamental” than functional.

“Is it an absolutely essential part of the program? I would say no, it’s not,” said Shalom Baranes, the architect. “Really it’s an aesthetic decision to have it there.”

Thisis a huge problem because Trump is rushing to get the building approved and completed before he leaves office, meaning we’ll be stuck with a $400 million boondoggle that will cost even more taxpayer money to be made to not look like sh*t.

The National Capital Planning Commission is scheduled on Thursday to take a final vote on the designs, which were being altered to accommodate more people as recently as October.

“The timeline never made any sense to me,” said Thomas Gallas, a former member of the planning commission and an architect. “A building on this scale might take its architects and engineers 18 months to two years from initial concept to completed construction documents, he said.”

This building was announced in *January.*

Like everything else Trump touches, this is turning into a disaster of epic proportions – and like everything else Trump touches, we’re going to be stuck with cleaning up the mess.

"To all those Republican congressmen calling the No Kings day demonstration hate America day: that was Jan. 6, 2021. You were hiding under your desk, remember?" #2,975
It is so spectacularly easy to undermine peaceful protest, a single uneducated, talentless drunkard on parole can pretend to join the protest,
and then introduce false flag violence.

Thus, a single malefactor can undermine the peaceful First Amendment exercise of millions.

And yet
and yet
and yet

Reportedly that did not happen.

Paradoxically, this may credit Trump / MAGA
if for no other reason than being so dismally disorganized
they couldn't coordinate a simple broken window.
