The Second Term of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States of America

CALL TO ACTION: Today Pam Bondi announced a new rule that would stop state bar associations from investigating misconduct by DOJ lawyers. We can work to stop this rule by writing comments stating our objections. SAMPLE OBJECTION you can model and adapt: I am a concerned citizen who cares deeply about preserving the rule of law and upholding the integrity of our justice system. I strongly oppose this new rule, because it will diminish accountability for misconduct by government lawyers. I believe that lawyers representing the United States should be held to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. They must be subject to oversight by independent authorities like state bar associations; the Justice Department cannot be trusted to police itself. This proposed rule would allow the Attorney General to interfere with independent state bar investigations. That will greatly harm the integrity of our justice system and allow misconduct to go unpunished.

This may be a greater threat to our union than WWII.

But then, is it really any surprise?
"I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the State." President Trump via telephone to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger

"The mob* was fed lies. They were provoked by the president [Trump] and other powerful people. And they tried to use fear & violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the [U.S.] federal government which they did not like." Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in proper decorum, reading written text on the senate floor, addressing Trump's 21/01/06 armed insurrection: broadcast PBS Tues. 21/01/19 (the day before Biden's inauguration), video-sound bite corroborated & extended by FOX FNS 21/01/24

note: Broadcast title credit to McConnell has been listed both as "Majority" Leader, and "Minority" Leader. "Republican Leader" substitutes
*the mob of armed insurrectionists that ransacked the capitol including Speaker Pelosi's office, ostensibly intending to delay or prevent the Biden inauguration

Trump, the only American ever to hold the office of our presidency, after being convicted of dozens of felonies,
and after flagrantly disregarding his own oath of office. Should we be surprised about #2,881 ?

Don't do anything rash Mr. President.

More than 200 U.S. service members have now filed complaints alleging something deeply disturbing inside parts of the American military.

According to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, troops from every branch of the armed forces have reported commanders telling them that the war with Iran is part of a biblical prophecy and that Donald Trump was “anointed by Jesus” to help bring about the events described in the Book of Revelation.

The complaints have come from more than 50 military installations since Saturday. This is crazy!

One noncommissioned officer described a combat readiness briefing where a commander reportedly told troops that everything happening in Iran was part of God’s divine plan. The officer said the commander cited passages from Revelation and delivered the message with what was described as a grin.

The complaint was filed on behalf of 15 troops in that room alone. Eleven of them were Christians.

This isn’t about atheists objecting to religion in the military. These are believers who say they know the difference between personal faith and commanders framing a war as a religious prophecy.

MRFF founder Mikey Weinstein says the complaints all follow the same pattern.

Commanders invoking apocalyptic theology and suggesting that escalating violence in the Middle East fulfills ......

Vice Admiral Nancy Lacore, one of the senior military leaders fired without cause by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth last summer, is running for the Congressional seat of Republican Nancy Mace in South Carolina's 1st Congressional District -- turning her dismissal from the Pentagon into a fight to flip a Republican House seat.

"After decades of service to our country, a career that started as a Navy pilot and finished as a three-star admiral, I was removed from my position without cause," Lacore declared in her campaign announcement. "I still have more to give, more to fight for, more work to do -- and I am not done serving."

As she told Reserve & National Guard Magazine last week, “I spent 35 years defending the Constitution and upholding the rights and freedoms that are in it. I’m concerned that is at risk right now.”

Lacore is a trailblazer in every sense: a Navy veteran who began her career as a helicopter pilot and rose to become a three-star admiral and the 16th Chief of the Navy Reserve, where she led more than 60,000 sailors. A native of Albany, New York, she followed in her father's footsteps by ....

Secretary Hegseth "removed" Admiral Lacore ?! - #2,884
Secretary Hegseth isn't fit to spit-shine Admiral Lacore's low-quarters.

note:
Unlike other U.S. presidents, President Trump does not select for competence. Trump selects for loyalty, not to the Constitution, but to himself.
This is how / why a n'er-do-well like Hegseth can fire a faithful servant of the People like the admiral.

And like a true, skillful leader, Admiral Lacore has converted adversity into opportunity.

Well done Admiral Lacore. Thank you for your faithful service in these exceedingly dangerous times.

Aim high Lacore. Surely the United States, the world would benefit with legislator Lacore.
And / or perhaps follow Hegseth as Sec. Def.?
BUT !!
Why stop there?
President Trump is a lame duck.

Hillary Clinton couldn't make the grade.
Kamala Harris couldn't either. BUT !
They put a few cracks in the "glass ceiling".

Three's the charm?

ICE again

BREAKING

ICE just ARRESTED an immigration journalist WITHOUT A WARRANT. She has a valid work permit, she came to the US legally, and she's married to a US Citizen.

Estafany Maria Rodriguez Flores is a journalist in Nashville who reports on ICE abuses, and the fear immigrant families live with every day for the Spanish‑language outlet Nashville Noticias.

On Wednesday morning, she was sitting in a car with her husband, in a vehicle clearly marked with her news outlet’s logo, when ICE agents surrounded them and dragged her away.

Estafany did everything “the right way.” She entered the U.S. LEGALLY in March 2021 on a tourist visa, applied for asylum, married a U.S. citizen, and now has a valid work permit while she and her husband work through the long process of getting her green card approved. She had an official .....

ICE needs to be arrested in my opinion, for consistent and universal violations of the law.
What I read is that she has an immigration court date coming up that ICE is going to make here miss, since she will be in their detention facility.

Sanity check welcome, but seems to me Trump's simply dumping so many alarming headlines on our "front page",
the unrelenting barrage of outrage is its own camouflage

As you know S2 the cliché is - kill the messenger -
meaning: punish the bearer of bad news. In this case, I think your tenure as a courier of bad news is secure here. In fact
you've inspired a new topic: https://citizenvoice.us/threads/the...at-a-while-but-what-shall-we-do-about-it.534/

Thanks in advance.

"In other words - ignore the Epstein Files?" S2 #2,889
a) Yes. BUT !
b) Trump has craved attention for a very long time, not limited to the Trump name displayed on buildings.

"Actions speak louder than words." Abraham Lincoln
Some consider law a form of societal structure, a means to manifest justice.

Trump seems to consider law a tool:
- a device for achieving his current agendum,
- a risk to be thwarted, circumvented when it works against him.

By now, rather than Trump inventing distractions alone, it seems to be Trump's comfort level.
"I like conflict." Trump early March 2018

Ted Lieu CATCHES Kash Patel’s Signature on the Order That CLOSED the Epstein Investigation

In the ritualized arena of congressional oversight, the most consequential moments often revolve around a single sheet of paper. During a tense exchange on Capitol Hill, Representative Ted Lieu zeroed in on what he described as a bureaucratic anomaly buried deep inside the FBI’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein financial network investigation. For nearly three years, the case had moved through the slow machinery of federal inquiry—subpoenas, forensic accounting, and inter-agency coordination designed to trace the funding architecture surrounding Epstein’s operations. Then, according to the document Lieu displayed during the hearing, the investigation ended abruptly. The authorization carried a single signature at the bottom: Kash Patel. The timing raised eyebrows across the committee room. The case closure reportedly occurred just eleven weeks after Patel assumed office, and the standard procedural markers—no final investigative summary, no public explanation entered into the oversight record—appeared absent. In Washington’s opaque world of national-security bureaucracy, those gaps are rarely ignored. And by holding the page up to the cameras, Lieu effectively turned an internal administrative action into a public political question.

BREAKING
🚨
Horrifying video just leaked of ICE shooting to death a 23 year old U.S. citizen at a traffic stop. ICE covered up the murder. When the media found out, ICE said he tried to “intentionally run over an agent.”

Unlike the other two ICE murders we know about, the victim, Ruben Ray Martinez, was not protesting - he was driving by the scene of a road accident where ICE officers were helping to direct traffic.

Officials declined to release the footage to media of “the incident” with Martinez.

But on Friday, dozens of body camera videos were made public by the Texas Department of Public Safety. The footage shows various angles from local police officers' body cameras of the incident. ICE still has refused to release their video.

In one clip, Martinez is seen rolling down the window of the blue Ford Fusion he was driving to talk with an agent. His car then advances slowly towards an intersection.

A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department officer at the scene says in an internal report that a blue car came to a stop "at the feet of an unknown Homeland Security Investigations Agent".

It states that another agent began to shout at the driver to stop the car, before drawing his weapon and firing "what sounded like 3 shots" into the driver's side window.

Attorneys for Martinez's mother, Rachel Reyes, said: "These new videos confirm that Ruben's car was barely moving when he was shot.

"He was braking, not accelerating. That nobody was on the hood of his car. That nobody was in front of his car when he was shot.

That he was shot at point-blank range through his side window by an ICE agent who was in no danger."

Meanwhile, yesterday ICE ARRESTED an Immigration Journalist while she was covering ICE.

She has a work visa. She is legally here. She is married to a U.S. citizen. Please sign the petition demanding ICE release her: https://act.link/gi-sHDnV5

Oddly enough, while none of the shooting BY ICE were justified by "self defense", but now everyone being approached by ICE could shoot them in "self defense".

Isn't that the essentially the logic that Trump used to justify attacking Iran? "They have weapons so we've got to defend ourselves"?? Same applies to ICE agents?

PAM BONDI JUST WENT TOE-TO-TOE WITH PETE BUTTIGIEG ON LIVE FOX – 62 SECONDS OF SCORCHED-EARTH FINANCE FURY THAT LEFT ŤRUMP’S “BILLION-DOLLAR BRIBE SHIELD” IN FLAMES

No warm-up. Pam Bondi, ŤRUMP’s new personal attorney, sits stone-faced in red blazer.

Pete Buttigieg walks straight past the host, grabs the second chair, and stares her down like she owes him bl00d money.

Pete opens f!re:

“Pam, your client took $2.4 billion in ‘consulting fees’ from Qatar while selling them tariff exemptions. That’s not business. That’s bribery with extra steps.”

Bondi doesn’t blink.

“Prove it, Mayor. Those are legal payments, fully disclosed, and you’re smearing a president because you can’t win an election.”

Pete leans in, voice rising:

“Disclosed? In the Caymans, maybe. I’ve got the wire transfers right here. Keep defending your bribe bag, Pam, while American farmers eat dirt.”

Bondi slams the desk:

“Show the receipts or shut up! You’re a sore loser peddling fake scandals!”

Pete smiles like ice cracking:

“Receipts drop at 9 p.m. tonight. Keep the channel on.”

Sixty-two seconds of studio silence so thick the teleprompter freezes.

Host’s water glass trembles. Ratings spike to 489 million.

Clip hit X at 8:02 p.m.

By 8:30 p.m. #BondiVsPete trending 172.4 billion views.

ŤRUMP’s Truth Social: “LYING PETE!”

Pete replies with a single bank transfer screenshot: $487 million, Qatar → ŤRUMP Org, dated the day the tariffs vanished.

One showdown.

One shield shattered.

ŤRUMP’s money firewall just got torched live on air.
