"I suppose blue is already sort of the associated color?" R5 #2,640
English is an idiomatic mine-field.

"Blue" can have connotations including:
- "blue" as in Democrat dominant as in "blue State" vs "red State", Republican dominant.
- despondent
- low temperature.

I try where possible to avoid ambiguity. I call the season "autumn" rather than "fall", to exclude the unintended meaning / suggestion of plummet. many etc.

However:
"We need a color - what's the opposite of gold?" S2 #2,638
"In the black" implies deficit avoided, whereas
"in the red" implies deficit / debt incurred.

By that standard we could go with "black", but that also implies grim.

"I tend to be agnostic, but that does not mean that everybody really is totally wrong about religion.
Multiple planes of existence may be possible?" R5 #2,645
There's an argument that for each human need there is a satisfaction.
- For hunger there is food.
- For thirst, water.
- For drowsiness, sleep.
- And for spiritual vacuum, god? Or at least, that is how some believers have framed it. BUT !
Agnostics might instead observe: for spiritual vacuum, religion (not the same as god), or perhaps wonder, or curiosity.
"I would rather have a mind opened by wonder than one closed by belief." Gerry Spence, Attorney at Law

"But our ability to understand, describe, or imagine them could never be accurate." R5 #2,645
Even those few exceedingly talented, skilled, & articulate observers whose assessment is unusually accurate,
their ability to share their insights with others can be limited by the language used to communicate with others.
English is a monumentally powerful tool. But it has its limitations.

Atheists self-define in terms of belief.
Agnostics self-define in terms of knowledge. Agnosticism is merely a confession of ignorance.
