News Related To The Ukraine / Russian War

There's a madman in the white house.
Not merely a question of whether Trump will be booed when he addresses the U.N. general assembly today, but
whether the disapproval will be sustained long enough to encroach on Trump's allotted podium time, not yet sure.

Will Iran respond, from the same podium?

{...

A podium is a raised platform a speaker stands on, while a lectern is a stand that holds notes or materials for the speaker.

I did not know that.

I believe it was the Ukraine who started hitting energy sites.
They are large and fragile, so if Russia had ever wanted to target utilities like energy source, then Kyiv would have been blacked out, cold, and without water in the first month.
Everything I have seen makes it look like the Ukraine is the bad guy who got bribed by the US.

Since the Ukraine is on Russia's border, there is no way Russia can never allow weapons to secretly be placed on its border.
So Zelensky has got to go.

a) It was Russia that invaded Ukraine, not the other way around. Basic maps of the battlefields make this unmistakably clear. The notion that Ukraine would start a war against Russia, attack and occupy Ukraine, etc. is beyond preposterous.

At the beginning of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, during the Battle of Enerhodar on 4 March 2022, Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), the largest nuclear power plant in Europe,
was attacked and occupied by Russian forces. It was the first full-scale military attack and occupation of an operational nuclear power plant in history.[1]

"So Zelensky has got to go." R5 #364
But Putin is OK ?

I disagree.
The Russians built the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, and they took it back since Kyiv had shut it down in order to make ethnic Russians leave the Ukraine.
The Russians did not attack it, but liberated it so that the eastern half of the Ukraine could regain electricity.

The ethnic Polish in Kyiv started the war with treaty violations because they were bribed by Hunter Biden in order to do so.
That is exactly what the US always does, like with Diem in Vietnam and the Mujahideen in Afghanistan.

I think you mean the wiki link from post 365.
Which I looked at and knew was totally wrong.
For example, the Zaporizhzhia reactor was built by the Russians in 1980, and it only powers areas in eastern Ukraine that are pro-Russian.
When Kyiv claims the Russians attacked the reactor were when Russia was advancing on Kyiv from the north, no where near this reactor.
And in fact, this reactor is where and when the Azov Battalion was attacking and murdering over 30k ethnic Russian natives in the area of this reactor.

Fact checked by AI as true . . . Some people are truly amazing. Dolly Parton for instance, and today I learned about "Howard Buffett, Warren Buffett’s middle son. He is 71 years old. He dropped out of college three times. He drinks Dr Pepper and like his father, looks for a McDonald’s wherever he travels.

Since the beginning of the war, his foundation has become the largest private donor to Ukraine: $1.4 billion. Over four years, he has personally visited Ukraine 27 times.

In April 2022, he saw burned-out agricultural machinery all over Ukraine and called the president of John Deere:

“How many combines are available in Europe?”

“Fifteen. All of them were supposed to go to Russia.”

“I’ll take them all. Ship them to Ukraine.”

Then came all the available New Holland equipment in Europe. Altogether, more than 100 tractors and combines have been provided to Ukrainian farmers. Free.

He even tested de-mining equipment himself - on his own farm in Illinois, detonating explosives beneath rollers. When someone asked if blowing up his own tractors to find a solution was worth it, Buffett replied: ....

I did not know that.
A few decades ago I saw a TV broadcast segment on Warren Buffett. At that time iirc Warren's home was listed as the modest house he grew up in.
Also reported, Warren's car was a 12 year old Oldsmobile.
The same report showed one of Warren's adult children living in a trailer, struggling to fix the kitchen sink, seemingly because they wouldn't or couldn't afford to hire a plumber.

Perhaps that report was inaccurate.

It's time for the West to integrate, and smack Putin / Russia out of Ukraine.

I disagree.
First of all, the Ukraine is traditionally, culturally, and historically Russian.
With the ethnic Polish faction being left over from the Polish invasion defeated around 1700.

Second is that the 2012 election in the Ukraine retained pro-Russian representatives, in what was determined to be fair elections.
So the Maidan Coup of 2014 was determined to entirely be due to the bribes Hunter Biden delivered to the ethnic Polish generals in Kyiv in 2013.
Since all the pro-Russian politicians were either killed, imprisoned, or exiled, the Ukraine has never had a democratic election since 2012.
This exactly how the CIA has always operated, looking for dissidents and supplying them with billions worth of our latest weapons technology.
Just like the Redeye SAMs we gave to the Mujahideen in 1979.

Third is that the ethnic Polish of Kyiv are the most racist of all of Europe, and were the ones who ran Hitler's death camps during WWII.
They are descendants of racist Cimmerians like Vlad the Impaler.

Forth is that Howard Buffet is notorious for selling his name to questionable pursuits.
Like he financed the illegal health care fraud run by Bill Gates, where experimental medical trials are conducted on poor Africans because they would be illegal anywhere else.
Obviously Buffet is being paid to launder CIA money in the Ukraine.

It's time for the West to integrate, and smack Putin / Russia out of Ukraine.

The US started the violence in the Ukraine, in 2014, when we bribed the Maidan Coup, where the racist Azov Battalion gang murdered over 30k ethnic Russian natives, Kyiv tried to stop Russian use of Sevastopol, and Kyiv tried to join NATO and the EU, both alliances hostile to Russia.

So the fact Moscow tried to negotiate for 8 years before Kyiv cut off all communications, shows it is Kyiv who forced this war on Russia, and Russia is not at all at fault.

In 1993 there were 52 million Ukrainians.
After the 2014 Maidan Coup massacres of ethnic Russian natives, the population of the Ukraine dropped to 42 million.
The war is not at all popular, and the press gangs from Kyiv have caused the population to drop to only 28 million currently.

Supersonic Russian jets trigger joint scramble by NATO allies amid Putin 'clowns' jab

F/A-18 Hornets and JAS 39 Gripens responded to a Russian formation including MiG-31 interceptors over the Gulf of Finland

NATO jets shoot down drone over Lithuania amid Baltic tensions
Lithuanian Foreign Affairs Minister Kestutis Budrys discusses NATO jets shooting down a drone in Lithuanian airspace as tension rises in the Baltic region. Budrys also calls for continued pressure on Russia.
Finnish and Swedish fighter jets scrambled for the first time on Sept. 24 to intercept supersonic Russian military aircraft flying over the Gulf of Finland, marking a major milestone in Nordic defense cooperation amid heightened tensions with Moscow.
The mission also came one day before Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed European warnings about the threat from Moscow in the region and mocked Estonia's new defense minister over the Baltic state's preparations for a potential Russian attack.

US ALLIES NEED TO SHOOT DOWN RUSSIAN AIRCRAFT TESTING NATO BOUNDARIES, CZECH PRESIDENT WARNS
The Russian formation included a Tu-134 transport plane, a high-altitude, supersonic MiG-31 interceptors designed to detect and engage long-range threats; and Su-30 multirole fighter jets which are designed for air-to-air and air-to-ground combat.

"This is what close cooperation looks like in practice," Maj. Gen. Jonas Wikman, commander of the Swedish Air Force, said in a statement following the joint operation.
"Built over years on trust and strong personal relationships, we can now operate seamlessly together — as air forces, as nations and as Allies."
Concern over Russian military activity along NATO’s eastern flank has grown following a string of airspace violations.
These include Russian drones entering Polish airspace, a Mi-8 helicopter crossing from Kaliningrad into Poland, drones crashing in Romania and Moldova, and armed Russian jets entering Estonian airspace before being intercepted by NATO aircraft on Sept. 18.

We obviously are illegally shipping weapons into the Ukraine by way of Poland, so Poland is going to get added to this conflict eventually.
That is really who took over Kyiv in 2014.
And that really can not be allowed.
If we keep this up, the whole US is going to get destroyed, since it would only take 3 airburst EMFs.

"We obviously are illegally shipping weapons into the Ukraine by way of Poland, so Poland is going to get added to this conflict eventually." R5 #374
"Illegally"?
For it to be "illegal" it must violate an explicit law. Whose law, in this case?
What is the exact wording?

"This is our responsibility." "We forced Ukraine to give up nuclear weapons, cruise missiles, and strategic bombers. We promised to protect Ukraine from Russia. We made Ukraine vulnerable. So yes - this is our war," Bill Clinton #375
The virtues of nuclear non-proliferation are understandable. BUT !
If to achieve that objective in this case a commitment to Ukraine was made, then that commitment must be kept.

It isn't.

And while in the short term this betrayal may seem to benefit U.S., in the long term undermining our own credibility, reliability will severely compound our foreign policy difficulties. IN FACT:
this type of treachery is already exacting a price against Trump in Iran.

Trump wants out of Iran, and is desperate to deal with Iran's surviving leadership about it. BUT !
Iran has already made clear: they had already reached an agreement with the U.S. during the Obama administration, and
the Trump administration unilaterally withdrew from the peaceful agreement, and substituted blood-spilling War.

With legitimate justification Iran now says, how can we trust you to adhere to the terms of a new agreement, when the U.S. violated the terms of the previous agreement?

It's not that the adversities Iran now confronts you with aren't severe Mr. President. It's that these adversities are of your own making.

That is total and absolute lies.
The Ukraine never had any weapons at all.
Those were all Russian weapons only stationed in the Ukraine.
And it is the Ukraine who owes Russia for taking out those nukes and weapons, because then the US would stop targeting the Ukraine.
And all the weapons the Ukraine has now, come from the US, Poland, or other NATO aggressors.
The Ukraine deliberately started this war by continually violating treaties until it became impossible to ignore any longer.

Actually I think it is the other way around, and it is the abstraction of harming the rights of others that matters, not specific legislation.
Which is why most legislation tends to not be very specific, like the charge of "assault".

But there are specific laws also, such as the 1992 Budapest Memorandum, the Geneva Conventions against arming belligerents, etc.

The point being that the Ukraine was totally Russian until the defeated Polish invasion attempt of 1700, and we should not allow Poland to try to finish their takeover.

And the removal of Russian nukes was not a sacrifice by the Ukraine, but a sacrifice by Russia, since it reduced Russia's retaliatory capability.
It is the Ukraine, the US, and Poland who owe Russia for making this sacrifice in 1992 of removing their nukes.

Attempting to join NATO would mean the US putting nukes on Russia's border, which is way beyond illegal, but an act of war.

Fine.
But then the correct term is not "illegal", but "detrimental".

"And the removal of Russian nukes was not a sacrifice by the Ukraine, but a sacrifice by Russia, since it reduced Russia's retaliatory capability." R5 #378
Reduced Russia's "retaliatory capability" against what ?!
The emaciated Western unwashed millions in their disgracefully tattered clothing staggering zombie-like toward Moscow so they can get ...
an extra helping of bupkis ?

The Kremlin / Moscow / Russia / doesn't need a nuclear weapons deterrent to protect its sovereignty from Western expansionism.
The Kremlin / Moscow / Russia / needs a nuclear weapons deterrent to protect its own fragile self-image.

It is not Russian nuclear military capability that defends Russia from Western military expansionism.
There's very little Russia has to offer the West that isn't easier and cheaper to buy than to plunder, Stolichnaya & Beryllium, obvious examples.
The absurdity is your premise, demonstrably absurd by today's https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/ headlines.
The fantasy premise that the West will invade Russia for territorial conquest isn't even ridiculous enough to snicker at.
Russia has lost the military initiative in Ukraine as costs continue to mount. The Russian military has suffered 1.4 million battlefield casualties and as many as 450,000 deaths since its February 2022 full-scale invasion, according to new CSIS data.
https://www.csis.org/analysis/russian-blood-and-treasure-ballooning-costs-putins-war
Please note: Ukraine is NOT depicted as the aggressor here. That role is clearly designated as Russia's.
