In 2026 U.S.A. we straddle that fence with the Constitution.
CERTAINLY the U.S. Founders did not intend for their 3rd millennium countrymen to abuse children. Where do we draw the line?

Parents are not exempt from our Constitution's free exercise clause.

Parental withholding of vaccinations from their own children may endanger, potentially kill their own children. BUT !
The free exercise clause enumerates a Constitutional right of parents to do so.

There's no legal requirement for religious belief to be true. Faith is belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.
There isn't even a sincerity clause requiring parents to believe in anti-vax, it simply protects their right to withhold vaccination from their own children.

Chlorine for the gene-pool?

None of that gets US closer to solution. BUT !
It may at least help magnify the anguish of the problem.
