The concept seems appealing enough.
I suspect real-world practicalities would prevent such application from advancing beyond preliminary field testing.
We obtain our worldview through experience.
But window fans may mislead us about what to expect at the fire-line of a wildfire.
If the wildfire is big enough a single tanker firetruck couldn't extinguish it, the fire-line would quite likely cause convention. which tends to Oxygenate the fire.
If you're serious R5, why not talk it over with the local fire chief? BUT !
Don't be caught off-guard if s/he laughs out loud.
I can easily imagine a narrow set of circumstances where it might work.
