I'm nearly as much a sucker for sappy superficiality as any other human. BUT !

We needn't dig very deep to see a more representative, horrifying reality.

CERTAINLY in the U.S. in context of the Middle East, a geographic area nearly synonymous with strife,
confluence and unity is welcome, even if unrepresentative, rare.

What's so grim here?
There's no backdrop of negotiation at the ceremony depicted, no friction at issue between the three individuals. It's a simple ceremony following a great disaster.

So why the alarm 😲 sear?

It is blunder, it is self-delusion to pretend this is representative of the U.S. Zeitgeist on 09/11/26, or more broadly during the Trump administrations.

The opposite is far closer to the truth.
The Republicans packed the courts, and have usurped women's right of choice in their Dobbs ruling.

Trump has fomented severe contentions among allies and trade partners alike, not just words alone.
Trump may hold our attention / alarm. Let us not forget, Trump could not so ruthlessly wield the power he does without the support of the U.S. electorate.

Bottom line, the #3,960 meme is cherry-picked, an unrepresentative sample, 3 out of 300 million. The more realistic more representative image is far more grim. Not comity, catastrophe. Trump, elected by tens of millions, AGAIN !!

The result, degraded healthcare for many within the U.S. and
