BREAKING: Donald Trump suffers a crushing setback as his administration returns a Guatemalan national to the United States after he was wrongfully deported to Mexico — seemingly the first instance of the White House obeying a judge to bring someone back.

This trickle could become a flood...

The migrant in question is using the pseudonym "O.C.G." for their case and was returned to the United States on Wednesday. They have been in contact with the crack legal team currently fighting the White House's blatantly fascist operations that send migrants to countries to which they have no connections.

O.C.G. is currently in ICE custody. He sought asylum in the United States in 2024 after surviving "multiple violent attacks" in Guatemala. While navigating to the United States on that trip he was raped and held for ransom in Mexico. This is a person who deserves our compassion, not Republican cruelty.

In 2025, a judge ruled that O.C.G. should not be sent back to Guatemala but two days later the Trump administration deported him to Mexico, ignoring the courts like they have on so many other occasions. He was subsequently removed to Guatemala where he was "living in hiding, in constant panic and constant fear."

O.C.G. has stated that he was never given an opportunity before deportation to explain that he was afraid of being sent to Mexico. The administration falsely claimed that he said the opposite: that he was not afraid of being sent to Mexico. The government later recanted that claim because they could not produce a single immigration official to back it up.

US District Judge Brian Murphy ordered O.C.G.'s return last month, ruling that his removal to Mexico followed by removal to Guatemala "lacked due process."

MAGA Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin whined that the return was the result of a "federal activist judge" and insisted that Mexico was a "safe third option" for the Guatemalan national. Clearly, the regime is furious that they had to do this.

While this victory is cause for celebration, it's not the end of this fight. We cannot rest until every single person who was illegally deported by the Trump administration is accounted for.

It definitely is - and it contains a lot of things other than the monetary issues.

That's what happens when you have massive document - the people voting on it don't even read it in its entirety.

Safe to say that many of them aren't actually against it. It's deniability for when their public feels the impact.

Which tells you that the government elected to protect us does not give a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut about domestic terrorism, which is mostly Nazis and the KKK anyway.

More in-depth at ProPublica:

I like Ike.
The U.S. president is sometimes unofficially considered -leader of the free world-.
Eisenhower had an encouraging item on his résumé for such office. General Eisenhower had been "Supreme Allied Commander". Ike won WWII.
That's pretty good.

Isn't it?

"What the XXXX happened to these people?" #787
- amen -

A brief review of history:
- Instead of allowing the Florida ballot recount to continue the Republican majority on our Supreme Court intervened on behalf of Bush [R-"TX"] and decided the election against the winner of the popular vote.
So instead of President Gore, we got President Bush.

"... the magnificently misnamed "neo-conservatives", are the most radical people in this town [Washington DC]" George Will / ABC-TV This Week July 16, 2006

- By such atrocity as lying the U.S. into War against Iraq, apparently a flourish by son President Bush to teach father President Bush a lesson, that according to son GWB, father GHWB should have taken Desert Storm right to Baghdad and dispensed with Saddam at that time.
Bottom line, son GWB tried to prove his father GHWB wrong, but instead proved GHWB right, on that narrow detail.

- This vulnerability of the GOP, susceptible to be used for family gain, was observed by Trump. And this political parasite has now stricken twice.

Warren Buffett, "I could end the deficit in 5 minutes," he told CNBC. "You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election. The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971...before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.

1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective

The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term's), then go home and back to work.

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!

Apparently the 2024 election results are being investigaged???

I'm sure we'll see the 11 million Americans who will be ceremoniously cut from their Medicaid dancing in the streets! And those whose grandchildren will be paying for the $trillions over the years to contribute to the benefit of millionaires and billionaires will be so pleased!

And that's not even taking account the other non-monetary things in this bill.

BREAKING: Donald Trump's crooked Attorney General Pam Bondi gets rocked with bad news as a formal complaint is filed with the Florida Bar accusing her of "serious professional misconduct" in her current job.

And it gets even better...

Roughly 70 law professors, attorneys, and former Florida Supreme Court justices Barbara J. Pariente and Peggy A. Quince have banded together to file the ethics complaint in question.

In it, they accuse the nakedly partisan MAGA AG of violating her ethical duties and engaging in "serious professional misconduct that threatens the rule of law and the administration of justice."

It alleges that she has "sought to compel Department of Justice lawyers to violate their ethical obligations under the guise of ‘zealous advocacy’" that was made clear in a February memo she sent to everyone in the Justice Department on her first day on the job.

They cite specific instances where Bondi and her equally corrupt senior team "ordered Department lawyers to do things those lawyers were ethically forbidden from doing, under threat of suspension or termination—or fired them for not having done so."

The complaint accuses Bondi of threatening DOJ attorneys with termination unless they chose to "to zealously pursue the President’s political objectives."

According to the complaint, Bondi has not only violated longstanding norms that ensure the nonpartisan nature of the Justice Department but also run afoul of the Florida Bar's conduct rules.

The group drew attention to the Florida Bar's refusal to pursue two prior ethics complaints against Bondi, stating that the "the Florida Bar’s dismissal is unsupported by history or precedent" because its policy of not investigating/prosecuting "sitting officers appointed under the U.S. Constitution while they are in office" does not shield a Florida-licensed lawyer if they've been accused of abusing a federal position of power.

When she was testifying at her confirmation hearing, Bondi claimed that the alleged "weaponization" of the Justice Department would end under her leadership. Sticking to the fascist playbook, she accused Democrats of doing what she herself intended on doing.

Under Bondi, the Justice Department has become a partisan attack dog for the far-right MAGA agenda. She isn't interested in upholding the rule of law or defending our democracy. All she cares about is abusing her power to further ingratiate herself with Trump and advance her own career.

This woman should be removed from her position, disbarred, investigated, and prosecuted.

MAJOR BREAKING: Donald Trump caves as his administration agrees to return wrongfully deported Maryland father Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States.

But we’re not out of the woods yet…

Abrego Garcia is being returned to America to face charges for allegedly transporting undocumented migrants within the United States.

“Our government presented El Salvador with an arrest warrant and they agreed to return him to our country," stated Trump’s blatantly corrupt Attorney General Pam Bondi. "We’re grateful to President Bukele for agreeing to return him to our country.”

It has been over two months since the Trump administration admitted that it “mistakenly” deported Abrego Garcia to a brutal prison in El Salvador. There’s no telling what manner of physical and psychological trauma he endured during his imprisonment and activists are already urging for him to hit the administration with a massive lawsuit.

Abrego Garcia had been indicted by a grand jury for the aforementioned charges, giving Trump a desperate avenue to save face by smearing this man further.

The charges stem from a 2022 traffic stop in Tennessee that resulted in a simple warning from authorities at the time. Abrego Garcia was pulled over for allegedly speeding in a vehicle that contained several other men.

The indictment states that he is already in U.S. custody.

"From the beginning, this case has made one thing painfully clear: The government had the power to bring him back at any time. Instead, they chose to play games with the court and with a man's life," said Abrego Garcia’s attorney Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg.

“We're not just fighting for Kilmar -- we're fighting to ensure due process rights are protected for everyone. Because tomorrow, this could be any one of us -- if we let power go unchecked, if we ignore our Constitution,” he added.

Shift's comment - based on what we see here any Uber, bus or taxi driver could be brought up on charges if it turns out that one of their passengers is undocumented.

Trump says Elon Musk will face 'very serious consequences' if he funds Democratic candidates

In an interview with NBC News, the president also said he assumes his relationship with the tech billionaire is over following their recent falling out.
By Kristen Welker and Alexandra Marquez

President Donald Trump on Saturday said there would be “serious consequences” if tech mogul Elon Musk funds Democratic candidates to run against Republicans who vote in favor of the GOP’s sweeping budget bill.

“If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that,” Trump told NBC News in a phone interview, but declined to share what .....
