A key logical error here is fudging the word implied if not expressed: "symbolized".

Is there a finite limitation to what an egg can symbolize? If the Pagans symbolize cyclical Spring, the egg is no longer available to subsequent groups?

Many an atheist manifests a vengeful agenda, attempting to counter-strike against religion. It's self-defeating.
Religion may not have much to offer, but when well executed, it can serve.

Indeed.
But the hue seems rather more one of outrage or contempt than uncomplicated factual observation.

Think it through.
Should we feel more receptive to religion in general, Christianity in particular if its lore was more innovative, more original, but theological lessons the same?

I sincerely appreciate the insight from the meme in #1,421. I didn't know it, and have not corroborated it. Perhaps I'm too jaded.
