A senator who was briefed on President Donald Trump’s plans to launch intense strikes on Iran after the midterm elections has warned that the attacks are slated to be so horrific that they will lead to the “destruction” of the U.S.’s “commitment to the rule of law.”

At an event hosted by the Middle East Institute on Wednesday, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Connecticut), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said that he was recently in a “fairly detailed” briefing with Pentagon officials about the war plan.

“I will just say this: Their plan … will lead to devastating escalation and the likely destruction of our commitment to the rule of law,” Murphy said.

“The plan that they have developed will lead, in my view, to a prolonged escalation of this war that will be devastating for our security interests,” he went on, adding that it would also put the lives of U.S. soldiers at risk when Iran retaliates.

Murphy said that he couldn’t share details of the plan, but, when asked to elaborate, he pointed to recent reporting on the campaigns that the Pentagon has drawn up on behalf of President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

President Trump has lavished pain around the globe.
Under the guise of liberating Iran Trump has inflicted misery on Iranians with economic sanctions, disruptions in government, etc.
Trump has threatened Greenland & Canada.
Cuba has nearly gone dark.
And in the U.S., MAGA voters are paying over $100.oo to $filler-up.

It appears what President Trump is planning for after November 3 elections is a bloodbath in Iran, reportedly 3 U.S. aircraft carriers preparing for military combat there.

If Trump spills more Iranian blood, regardless of whatever rhetorical excuse Trump chooses, that blood will be on the hands of U.S. $taxpaying voters.
That amount of blood doesn't wash off.

The atrocity of Trump pardoning his Jan. 6 insurrectionist conspirators harms the United States.
If the United States is unwise enough to endure this conspicuous travesty, it is at least self-inflicted.
Corpses of innocent dead in Iran is different.
And perfunctory administrative response afterward is entirely inadequate.

If the People of the United States of America do not prevent such carnage by whatever means necessary,
such slaughter of the innocent will solidify, validate the Middle East reputation of the United States as The Great Satan,
not just by their standards, but by our own.

It's not too late.
The 25th Amendment applies.
So do the political endorsements of the People of the United States expressed next Tuesday.
Those that want a blood red tsunami November 3rd may have it.
