The Second Term of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States of America

"You were warned." S2 #4,223
I suspect this functionally is mere preaching to the choir.

Can you S2, quote a warning from Trump's Chief-of-Staff that warned "you"?

Problem is, election day's about a week away.
Most voters have already chosen the candidates for whom they will vote.

You and I both know, it's the swing vote that determines election outcomes.
How will #4,223 persuade them? It hasn't changed your mind. Why would it change theirs?

What we need, a week from election day, is persuasive logical justification for voting for sanity.

Trump played 3 years of varsity baseball, as a cleanup hitter and first baseman, one season of varsity football, and one season of varsity soccer in his senior year.

And from New Jersey (or "Joisey" as it's properly known)

Re #4,227

Donald Trump participated in varsity sports as a three-sport athlete during his time as a cadet at the New York Military Academy (NYMA). [1, 2]

High School Sports Career (NYMA)
    • Baseball: Played three years of varsity baseball as a cleanup hitter and first baseman, with school yearbooks and coach notes highlighting his role on the team.
    • Soccer: Played one season of varsity soccer as a defender/fullback during the 1963–1964 school year.
    • Football: Played one season of varsity football at the academy. [1, 2, 3, 4]

College and Later Athletic Background
    • Intercollegiate: Attended Fordham University before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania, though he did not compete in varsity intercollegiate athletics at the NCAA level.
    • Club/Recreational: Played campus squash and tennis during his early college years.

Trump was a three sport athlete at New York Military Academy and played on the football team for one year. His classmates said this of President Trump ****

"He was just the best, a good athlete, a great athlete," former classmate Ted Levine told Business Insider.

"He could have probably played pro ball as a pitcher. I think he threw 80 miles an hour. I was the catcher. He made my hand black and blue every day."

"Could he play football? Could he play soccer? He could do anything he wanted. He was physically and mentally gifted.”

Have to admit that I find the idea that he as "that talented" to be hard to swallow.

If you are godless, you can become heartless.
And if you can become heartless, you can become ruthless.
If you can become ruthless, you can become a killer." musician Coolio

Trump has already killed many in Iran.
There are indications Trump is planning more carnage in Iran after November 3.

Stock Market Investors Just Got Bad News About President Trump's Economy. History Says This Could Happen Next.

The S&P 500 (SNPINDEX:^GSPC) and Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX:^IXIC) have added 12% in 2026 despite a number of economic headwinds. That puts both indexes on pace for their fourth consecutive year of double-digit gains for the first time since the late 1990s.

However, investors recently got bad news about the economy. Inflation accelerated in September, as President Trump's decision to take military action against Iran continued to pressure energy prices. The Federal Reserve has already raised interest rates once, and further rate hikes are now more likely. https://www.fool.com/

I believe there's a risk Trump simplemindedly blames Iran for the Democrat's improving prospects in next week's vote.
Perhaps foolishly, Trump may think by inflicting more harm on Iran Trump's own political misfortunes may be reduced.
Or perhaps simply as Trump's perceived path to vengeance? To punish Iran for ... ?

Politically Trump's MAGA horde is in trouble.
Trump has been addressing crowds, seemingly more for fun (as an entertainer) than to deflect an electoral "blue wave", a metaphor for political power transfer from Republican to Democrat.

We see evidence of Trump's underlying intention is self-reward, rather than political strategy.
None the less Trump has been heckled:

This potty-mouth level of political discourse seemed rarer in previous U.S. presidential administrations. D.J. ?

Sounds like the media likes Trump?

When that inquiry was extended, President Trump was trying on his Halloween pirate costume.
Our president's reply: "Aye Matey!"
"Aye Matey"
"I'm 80 ... "

... or maybe not.

“And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.” That was 2005, on a hot mic.

Two years earlier, actor Danny Masterson r*ped two women at his home. His victims, former Scientologists, say church officials told them what happened to them wasn’t r*pe, and that church policy kept them from going to the police.

They went anyway. His first trial ended in a hung jury. They testified again. In 2023, a jury convicted him.

On Tuesday, three appeals judges unanimously upheld the verdict, rejecting every argument he made, including his claim that the trial was biased against his religion.

He’s 50. He won’t be eligible for parole for more than 20 years. His lawyers say they’ll take it to the California Supreme Court. We don’t wish him good luck.

Meanwhile, the man on that hot mic was found liable for sexual abuse by a New York jury in 2023. The judge later wrote that what the jury found was r*pe “as many people commonly understand” the word.

Now, he resides in the White House.

The women in Masterson’s case were told to stay quiet. They didn’t.

They were told it wasn’t r*pe. A jury said it was.

That’s what accountability and justice look like. Now imagine it applied to everyone.
