Instead, fully funded by private donations.
And when Trump made that claim the construction price was listed at $400 $Million.
Now it's more than $doubled.
Sure looks like Trump hopes to skim some $Millions on this. Will his Republican chums let him?

I am ambivalent on RFK Jr.
He actually is correct you should not blindly believe anyone.
But what you should do is get the experts to explain their rational, so that there is a reason to believe them, not just faith.
Medicine in the US is highly suspect since it is totally profit driven.
My experience is that it is totally corrupt by that greed.
Things like statins likely should be illegal since they harden the arteries and cause vastly more harm than the cholesterol they are supposed to be for.
The correct treatment for cholesterol should instead be diet and exercise, but they do not say that since there is no profit in that.
