The Second Term of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States of America

"As for "doubling up" - got a cold so you take a cough suppressant, and a decongestant, and you're sore and achy so you take a tylenol, and something to soothe your throat - odds are every one of those things contain tylenol." S2 #3,039

Manhattan NYC, ~ turn of the century:

Pappy's man cave was 10 blocks South of his 3rd wife's more civilized Sutton Place address.
Even in his 80's he'd walk the 10 blocks to meet her in time for supper, as he had done each Friday for years.
To avoid blood clots Dad self-prescribed aspirin.
To preserve mental acuity he took ginkgo biloba. Both are anticoagulants.
One afternoon after his 10 block walk to dinner he mentioned a headache, and said he'd lie down a while, she should call him / awaken him for dinner.
He never got up. Brain hemorrhage apparently.

SO !
As Dr. S2 observes: beware doubling up. The life you save may be your own.

So despondent she decided to end it all, Penelope trudged off to the pharmacy to buy a family-sized bottle, 1,000 Aspirin,
planning to swallow all one thousand tablets. BUT !
I remember reading a post by a clinical resident in ER about having a family come in - parents and a teenage daughter - he said one look and he knew what was wrong. "How many tylenol did you take" - answer, an entire bottle. Nothing much they could do for her except make her comfortable.

Marge!
How's it goin' ?

[Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)] says Trump told her if her ‘son were to get killed,’ it would be her fault

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said during a recent podcast appearance that President Trump had an “unkind” response when she messaged him about receiving death threats against her and her family after she resigned from Congress.
Greene told the “Piers Morgan Uncensored” host Wednesday that she reached out to FBI Director Kash Patel and other senior Trump administration officials after threats against her “escalated” to one of her children.
“And I was so upset over death threats on my children because of him,” she said in the episode, claiming that some of those warnings echoed Trump’s own words, including labeling her as a “traitor.”
“I’m not a traitor to my country. Standing up for rape victims doesn’t make me a traitor,” Greene added, referencing her support for victims of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and pressure on the Justice Department to release files related to the case.
The former lawmaker said she alerted the president to the threats she was getting, but he showed “no compassion whatsoever.” It was the last time the two spoke, according to Greene.
“What did he say to you?” Morgan pressed.
“He had no compassion for death threats on my children. He blamed me basically that if my son were to get killed, it would be my fault,” the Georgia Republican replied, which seemed to stun Morgan.

Millions & millions of $taxpaying U.S. voters chose President Trump
twice.

If this is not what they wanted, why did they vote for it?

Trump doesn't make threats. He makes targets.

This week, after Trump spent days publicly attacking the Pope — calling him weak, wrong, and out of his lane — a bomb threat was called in to the Illinois home of the Pope's brother, John Prevost.

Neighbors were evacuated. K9 units swept the property. The threat turned out to be a hoax. But the pattern? That's very real.

This is how he operates.

Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric is the trigger, and he knows one of his adoring followers will take it from there. He never has to get his hands dirty. He just takes aim.

We've seen it before.

When Trump called Marjorie Taylor Greene a "traitor" — a specific accusation with specific implications — she received 773 official death threats, including threats against her son. The subject line on those emails? "Marjorie Traitor Greene."

His words. Her son's life. And when she texted Trump to tell him, HE blamed HER.

Trump even publicly ranked the Pope's brothers this week — declaring Louis, the MAGA one, his favorite. Nothing sinister about that. Just a sitting president publicly sorting a religious leader's family by loyalty.

This is straight from a mob boss playbook.

You don't order the hit. You just make clear, loudly and publicly, who has displeased you. Then you wait. And you have the nerve to express surprise when something happens? To blame the victim?

Trump knows exactly what he's doing. So do we.

BREAKING: John Eastman—the right-wing MAGA lawyer who helped orchestrate Donald Trump’s last-ditch scheme to overturn the 2020 election—has officially been DISBARRED by the California Supreme Court.

Eastman was a central figure behind the plan to pressure then–Vice President Mike Pence to block certification of the Electoral College results on January 6. His legal theories were widely rejected by courts and condemned by constitutional experts.

Now, the consequences are catching up. Finally.
