JD Vance Offers Up Bonkers Christian Theory For What UFO Sightings Actually Are—And The Side-Eye Is Real

Vice President JD Vance was a guest on Benny Johnson's podcast over the weekend, and he asserted his belief that UFO sightings are actually "demons."

Vice President JD Vance is being widely criticized after he claimed during an appearance on conservative influencer Benny Johnson's podcast over the weekend that UFO sightings are actually "demons."

Vance said he is “more curious than anybody” about whether life exists on other planets, but offered his own Christian conspiracy theorist twist on the subject when asked about President Donald Trump's order to different agencies to "begin the process of identifying and releasing government files on aliens and extraterrestrial life."

BREAKING: PRO-CRIME GOVERNMENT! Trump’s DOJ quietly killed over 23,000 terrorism, fraud, and drug cases in just six months to focus only on immigration!

Under Attorney General Pam Bondi, the Department of Justice has abandoned prosecutions at a record pace. In the first six months of Trump’s second term, the DOJ closed more than 23,000 criminal cases, including hundreds of investigations into terrorism, white-collar crime, fraud, and drug trafficking.

Analysis from ProPublica shows this is a dramatic departure from both the Biden administration and Trump’s first term. In February 2025 alone, nearly 11,000 cases were declined — the highest monthly total in two decades. Even cases involving major fentanyl suppliers and federal program fraud were shut down.

Meanwhile, the DOJ has ramped up immigration prosecutions to nearly triple the rate under Biden. The message is clear: serious crime takes a backseat while the administration pours resources into mass deportations and political priorities.

Former prosecutors describe a demoralized department where veteran cases are being killed to “clean up the books” and make numbers look better. One called it “taking a sledgehammer” to the rule of law.

This is Trump’s version of “law and order,” to ignore real criminals, go after immigrants, and call it justice.

hmmm
Not very flattering, but what else could it be?

"Sear, is Trump dropping Bondi because of the Epstein files?" t #2,986
If so, because she hasn't done enough to release the Epstein files which she previously claimed to have on her desk? - OR -
Because she's already done too much?

Senate Leader sear would make it clear at the senate confirmation hearing of Bondi's Trump appointed successor:

You Mr / Madam candidate sign a contractual agreement to fully disclose the Epstein files by a deadline we agree to here and now,
a disclosure that receives unanimous satisfaction from the U.S. senate before the deadline OF YOUR CHOOSING.
And if your promise, your contractual commitment is not fully kept, the contract becomes your immediate resignation.

If Trump's nominee agrees, that candidate is then eligible for further senate consideration / confirmation.
If not, the nominee is rejected.

BUT !

Too many U.S. senators in leadership position have spines of jello. kick the can ...

And Trump's tariffs strike again

And Trump's tariffs strike again" S2 #2,990
We've had over half a decade to observe how Trump exercises his best judgement in executive governance.
This is how we know Trump doesn't understand the basics of his office.
This was painfully demonstrated when Trump boasted from behind podium, on camera, live mic, that he just realized United States, sometimes nicknamed U.S. is spelled U.S, like "us".
Not merely that Trump had gotten through both primary and general elections, AND inauguration without realizing this, but that he would boast on camera of his discovery.

President Donald J. Trump is spectacularly unfit for his office. And his apparent delusion that he can dispense with income tax because of the windfall his tariffs will generate provides insight into the scale of Trump's delusion.
I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle. --Winston Churchill
DJ,
A tariff is a tax.
And we will not, can not tax our way to prosperity. What can government provide that it hasn't first taken?
