The Second Term of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States of America

CNN paused for breaking Trump alert as president loses it completely

During a CNN interview, former U.S. President Donald Trump became visibly agitated when questioned about the recent release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. The exchange took place after the Department of Justice (DOJ) made public millions of documents related to the convicted sex offender, marking the largest such release since a law mandated their disclosure last year.

Trump dismissed the files as largely irrelevant, claiming the only significant revelations involved a supposed conspiracy against him. When CNN correspondent Kaitlin Collins asked whether he had reviewed emails involving Elon Musk and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, which appeared in the newly released batch, Trump responded, “No. I have a lot of things I’m doing. I don’t know. You mentioned two names. I’m sure they’re fine. Otherwise there would have been major headlines.”

The discussion quickly escalated after Collins raised concerns about the DOJ’s removal of thousands of documents following reports that victims’ identities had been exposed. Trump interrupted, saying, “Well, I’ve also heard they thought they released too much. And now you’re telling me .....

So... the freshly renamed "Donald J. Trump and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts" has problems finding artists wanting to perform for trump.

Solution: Close it down for two years, and giving it the East Wing treatment to turn it into another gaudy monument built to the taste of the Dear Leader (for $ 200 Millionen so far).

President Donald Trump insisted he wouldn’t level the Kennedy Center with his planned renovations, but his explanation of the construction on Monday raised questions about just how far he would actually go.

The president revealed that the project would cost $200 million after he posted on Sunday that the performing arts center would be closed for two years starting in July.

“I’m not ripping it down. We’ll be using the steel, so we’re using the structure,” Trump declared on Monday. The president claimed they would be “using some of the marble” and “some of the marble comes down.

”But his comments suggested it would be stripped down to the studs starting this summer.

“The steel will all be checked out because it’ll be fully exposed,” Trump said.

It comes just months after the president completely bulldozed the East Wing of the White House in a shocking move that sparked national outrage.

Before he leveled it, the Trump administration had insisted the construction of his new ballroom would largely not interfere with the historic building.

The legislation prohibits state and local governments from entering into agreements to detain individuals for civil immigration violations, stops the use of public land for immigration detention, and bans 287(g) agreements that turn local law enforcement into immigration agents.

"We're gonna have ICE surround the polls ... We'll never again allow an election to be stolen." Steve Bannon #2,667
This is a welcome "heads-up", and has been provided by Bannon sufficiently in advance for States to pass into law statutes that defeat this Trump administration to further circumvent U.S. election administration.
Thanks Steve.

Is the United States under Trump's misleadership careening toward another U.S. / Russia nuclear arms race?

Fears grow of new nuclear arms race as key U.S.-Russia treaty expires

Without the New START treaty, which caps the number of deployed nuclear warheads at 1,550 on each side, there will be no limits on the U.S. and Russian arsenals.

The last major nuclear arms control treaty between Russia and the United States expires Thursday, ushering in an era without caps set by the world’s largest nuclear powers.
Without the New START treaty, which caps the number of deployed nuclear warheads at 1,550 on each side, there will be no limits on the American and Russian arsenals. Not only are there no discussions between Washington and Moscow on what comes next, but also officials from both countries are left guessing about the other side’s capabilities and intentions, increasing the possibility of misunderstandings and an unrestricted nuclear arms race not seen since the 1960s, experts and officials warn.

For pie-chart fans:

Split a $100.oo pie in half, each half is a $50.oo slice of $pie.
The guns vs butter pie is the same.
The more we spend on nuclear weapons which at best we would never use,
the less we have to spend on infrastructure improvements.

Though it may seem counter-intuitive, though the U.S. has spent $Billions on infrastructure,
well-chosen infrastructure spending can be and in some cases has been an investment that pays $rich $dividends.

So what?
So if Trump wishes to slobber on Putin that's Trump's problem. BUT,
while he's at it, wouldn't be a bad idea to at least extend the current treaty through the end of this decade, for sake of the human race.
