I don't see how the war in Afghanistan could possibly have been at all legal?
The Taliban had offered to extradite Osama bin Laden to Saudi Arabia, which would have satisfied all legal requirements anyone could have suggested.
Moslem law does not allow them to extradite to a non-Moslem country, which seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Seems simple enough. Right?

Problem is, former president Trump was not eligible to run for president in 2024 either.
