The Second Term of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States of America

BREAKING: MAGA Congressman Mike Turner reveals that Republican lawmakers are "very concerned" about Pete Hegseth's "double-tap" strike and says that the victims should have been arrested and tried in court.

Even Republicans are afraid to defend this horrifying war crime...

“Quite frankly, the many members have very much concerns as to whether or not the accuracy of what information is being used is to the level for us to even know what’s happening in this area, and the members are very concerned,” Turner said during an appearance on "Morning Joe.”

“These individuals, if they were captured and tried and convicted, they would be guilty — if they were found guilty — of criminal activity for which they’re not subject to capital punishment,” he continued. “They would be put in jail. They wouldn’t be subject to capital punishment. These people are being killed, not held and put in prison."

It really is that simple. Even if the victims of Hegseth's strike really were drug smugglers (a dubious claim given the dearth of evidence presented) they should not have been extrajudicially executed. We are a nation of laws and drug trafficking does not carry a death penalty in the United States. These people should have been detained, questioned, and tried in court if they were found to be breaking the law.

Instead, Hegseth and Trump are waging a murderous terror campaign across the Caribbean, indiscriminately blowing up boats full of people to excite the xenophobic MAGA base and terrify migrants and Latin American governments.

It's time for a full Congressional investigation. If laws were broken, people must be prosecuted.

Reportedly Trump has already blasted over a dozen boats this way, without a declaration of war.
By standard of International convention, isn't Trump therefore perpetrating an act of war?

But congress makes issue of the double-tap?

It's OK when everyone aboard is killed, but if there are any survivors, finishing them off is the problem?

If you have an opportunity to see the pilot, you might enjoy it. It seems to have been substantially better than any episode in the series.

Context matters.
What's the time, date, and location of this quoted presidential disclosure?

Issues have been made about Trump drowsiness lately.
Is medication involved?
Silence (non-disclosure) is not a lie?

And the graphic in #1,979 raises some questions about the credibility of the meme.
The two red stars conveniently located in Trump's background.

As President Trump has the authority and the capacity to end humanity, the People of the United States have a citizenship obligation.

As President Trump has the authority and the capacity to terminate humanity, the People of our solar system have a legitimate right to if not full disclosure, at least adequate disclosure.
If a loaded gun is held to your head, you have legitimate reason to know. Is the gunman competent? Read post #1,979 again, and then you tell me. "What language is this???"

The Trump administration is laying responsibility for a second strike that killed Venezuela boat strike survivors on Bradley rather than on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth." #1,974
The issue congress may address, an issue already dividing congress along partisan lines, was killing the survivors of the strike that disabled and overturned the boat,
was killing them a "war crime"?

Did Hegseth fire some? Let's go with yes.
Did Hegseth say they were "not well suited to offer advice on legal orders"? Specifically? I don't recall such a quotation.

There are various approaches, techniques for lying. Some make an effort to replace the truth with something plausible, perhaps in hope of avoiding discovery.
"The primitive simplicity of their minds (the masses) rend them a more easy prey to a big lie than a small one for they themselves often tell little lies but would be ashamed to tell the big ones ...
The victor will never be asked if they told the truth. ... Success is the sole earthly judge of right & wrong."

The Trump administration seems to have reached a stage where plausibility is insignificant, legitimacy not worth the effort.

At 8:07 this morning, the President of the United States took to his state propaganda channel, Truth Social, not to warn Americans about international drone incursions or nuclear threats, but to attack a female journalist. Again. This time, calling CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins “Stupid and Nasty” because she asked about the 300 million dollar White House ballroom that began as a 200 million project and has already blown past its original estimate. She responded on Instagram by saying, “Technically my question was about Venezuela.” Which makes this whole exchange even more absurd, because not only did he ignore the actual question, but he also dodged accountability on both a bloated vanity project and a major foreign policy crisis.

Trump didn’t say a word about ICE agents pepper-spraying a sitting member of Congress in Arizona. He ignored the military-grade drones that could have collided with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s plane over Ireland. Instead, he went online to insult a journalist for doing her job.

To those of you outside the United States, watching this unfold, I see your comments. I know you’re worried. I want you to know: it’s even worse than it looks. What’s happening here isn’t just a national crisis. It’s something we’ll be reckoning with for generations. And the destruction doesn’t stop at our borders.

What happens in America ripples across the world. Right now, our president is causing instability and suffering far beyond our shores.

I live in San Diego, in what still feels like a bubble of compassion and reason. Most people are kind, accepting, and decent. I don’t see red hats. I don’t see immigration raids on the routes I travel. They’re happening, but not directly in front of me. And then I open my laptop, and it’s like stepping into .....

At the 2026 World Cup draw, the winner is ... Donald Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump said he was not attending the draw for the 2026 World Cup to receive a prize, but he got one anyway.
Trump, who has campaigned aggressively this year for a Nobel Peace Prize, was given FIFA’s inaugural peace prize for his efforts to promote dialogue and de-escalation in some of the world’s biggest hotspots.

The former TV reality show host dominated the scene at Washington’s Kennedy Center on Friday, placing himself squarely at the center of one of the biggest events in the sporting world in a glitzy, celebrity-studded affair that bore the unmistakable stamp of the president.
The United States, along with Canada and Mexico, will host the soccer tournament next year. The prime minister of Canada, Mark Carney, and the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, were there, too, but it was Trump’s show from start to finish.
In a nod to Trump’s love of spectacle, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who served as master of ceremonies, had the three leaders stand behind brightly colored podiums - game-show style - to draw their teams. After the draw, they all posed for a selfie with Infantino.

"Trump says he has settled eight wars in 10 months" Reuters
Did Trump name each of these 8 wars? Did Trump name any of them?
Gaza? Did Trump settle this war? Or did Trump merely insinuate himself into it coincident to Israel tiring of churning Gaza rubble?

And should we add Gaza, considering Trump promised to end Russia's War in Ukraine before his 2nd inauguration? Trump promised that, and broke his promise. One minus one equals zero.

Did Trump clarify which determinative actions he took to accomplish this unprecedented feat? Any of the other 7?

It seems Trump's cankles are not the only bloated feat at the white house.
Also worth noting in the pic,
- the custom is for such an award to be bestowed upon, an implicit endorsement by the one bestowing it.
- multiple adhesive bandages on Trump's hand indicate Trump may not yet have integrated the fist-bump into his presidential greeting.

A U.S. president may shake hands more than a used car salesman.
The trauma of such repeated insult appears to have inflicted enduring injury.
