Some may dismiss this as a failure. But we callously disregard severe suffering of children if we don't at least attempt rescue.
Problem is, Trump is not skilled enough to do much more than fail at such undertaking. And it seems Trump was more interested in obtaining a Nobel Prize for himself
than ending human suffering there.
 
The MAGA crowd seems very triggered that yesterday’s protest was historic, their comments are everywhere. In total, 22 MAGA individuals were arrested for attempting to attack peaceful protesters. Arrests were made in OH, KY, CA, SC, NC, MI, OR, FL, VA, TX, and PA. There were incidents involving guns being drawn, vehicles driven into crowds, and other acts of aggression, but police acted quickly and removed the offenders. Meanwhile, police departments across the country are reporting that No Kings protesters had zero arrests. Incredible job, everyone! It’s becoming impossible for Trump to sell his propaganda.
 
"Democratic backsliding" is the process through which modern authoritarianism happens.

BREAKING: Colombian President Gustavo Petro EXPOSES Donald Trump for murdering a "lifelong fisherman" with his Caribbean strikes — adding that Americans are not his "enemies" and the "problem is with Trump" who does not "understand" the "concept of humanity."

And he was just getting started with his fiery takedown...

"The boat attacked on September 16 was Colombian, had an engine on top as a sign of damage and was turned off, presumably it was in Colombian waters, who was there was a lifelong fisherman: Alejandro Carranza, who has not returned to his home," Petro wrote on X.

"Alert to the Attorney General of the Nation. I request that you act immediately. Grant immediate protection to the victim families and associate them, if they wish, with the victims of Trinidad and Tobago to initiate legal actions in the world and in the justice system of the United States," he added.

Trump has been carrying out a string of homicidal military strikes on boats in the Caribbean and claims that the victims were all narcotraffickers. He has provided no evidence for these claims. Even if they were drug smugglers — which seems increasingly unlikely –– they should have been arrested and tried in a court of law.

"US government officials have committed a murder and violated our sovereignty in territorial waters Fisherman Alejandro Carranza had no ties to the drug trade and his daily activity was fishing," Petro wrote in a followup post. "The Colombian boat was adrift and had its distress signal up due to an engine failure. We await explanations from the US government."

"Why, I wonder, doesn't a national news outlet care that a U.S. missile has killed a humble fisherman from Colombia in Santa Marta," Petro wrote in another post. "The USA destroyed a family of fishermen in the city that will host the summit of Latin America and Europe. The USA has invaded national territory with a missile fired to kill a humble fisherman, has destroyed his family, his children. This is the homeland of Bolívar and they are murdering his children with bombs. The USA offended the national territory of Colombia and killed an honest, hardworking Colombian. !Let the sword of Bolívar be raised.!"

BREAKING: O.M.G! One of Trump’s ICE goons gets arrested for DRIVING DRUNK with his KIDS in the car and tries to RACIALLY PROFILE and THREATEN the cop arresting him!
42-year-old Scott Thomas Deiseroth of Miami (of COURSE it’s Florida) was pulled over for driving recklessly and swerving into oncoming traffic. The deputies found two kids, aged 7 and 9, with the drunk asshole, who immediately started saying that he was with DHS, with the obvious implication being “I’m in ICE, so I’m above the law and allowed to drive drunk.”

Deiseroth failed the field exercises and was taken to jail. But his behavior throughout the entire traffic stop is just unbelievable.

“Are you f*cking serious right now?” demands Deiseroth after the deputies ask him to get out of his car. “You know what, call my supervisor.”

“Do you want to do the exercises or no?” asks one cop, to which the alleged ICE thug says “What’s homeboy over there doing?” The Black cop patiently explains he’s setting out cones in order to make sure they don’t get hit by traffic and urges him to just do the exercises so everyone can move on.

“Are you Haitian?” demands Drunky McRacist. “That’s got nothing to do with this” replies the Black cop. “My question was, ARE YOU HAITIAN?” repeats Deiseroth, menacingly. “It doesn’t matter, man” says the white cop. “It DOES” says Deiseroth.

“If you’re a cop, whatever, just get in the car” says the frustrated white cop. “YEA I’M F*CKEN LAW ENFORCEMENT,” slurs Desieroth. “NO, I’M NOT GETTING IN THERE. LEMME TAL TO YER SURPERVISER! NOPE NOT GOING IN THERE WITHOUT MY SUPERVISOR.”

The cops eventually have to shove him in to the back of their patrol car.

The arrogance of these disgusting ICE scumbags in unbelievable. They truly think they’re above the law and have no problem putting their own kids in harm's way or threatening other law enforcement officers.

Can you imagine how this man would have reacted if an immigrant he tried to arrest for no reason behave this way?

Thankfully, consequences came VERY quick for this bozo.

BREAKING: HOLY SH*T! Governor Gavin Newsom shreds Vice President J.D. Vance after his "reckless" military event results in a LIVE EXPLOSIVE detonating early and raining dangerous shrapnel down on a California highway.

All of this insanity just to counter the No Kings protests...

"This is the type of explosive that detonated prematurely," Newsom wrote on X, attaching the photo of the artillery shell included in our graphic. "The best Fox News can come up with is 'CONCERNING.' This could have killed someone."

Newsom quote-tweeted a report from Fox News in which they wrote "'CONCERNING': A piece of metal shrapnel hit a California Highway Patrol car, CHP officials said, after an 'explosive ordnance' detonated prematurely during a Marine Corps 250th anniversary event. No injuries were reported."

"We love our Marines and owe a debt of gratitude to Camp Pendleton, but next time, the Vice President and the White House shouldn’t be so reckless with people’s lives for their vanity projects," Newsom wrote in another post.

According to The Guardian, a "live artillery shell exploded prematurely" while U.S. Marines were conducting a "live-fire demonstration" launching projectiles over Interstate 5, a normally busy freeway in California.

While the waste of taxpayer dollars was supposedly intended to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Marine Corps, it was widely interpreted by many commentators as a "counter-protest" to the No Kings protests that swept the nation over the weekend in opposition to the Trump administration.

Shrapnel from the shell rained down on a California Highway Patrol vehicle and a motorcycle that were part of J.D. Vance's detail. Newsom is absolutely correct in his analysis.

Someone could have easily been killed and it all would have been so that J.D. Vance could play-act as a general.

Thankfully, Newsom previously ordered the freeway closed after learning that, shockingly, military officials were not planning to do so themselves. If it weren't for the governor's leadership, innocent Americans might be lying dead right now, sacrificed to Vance's vanity. Newsom called the display an “absurd show of force” that was “totally uncalled for."

After the shell exploded, the exercise was canceled and the area was swept for fragments, although none were discovered. It was an embarrassing end to a childish event.

It's quite frankly a miracle that nobody was harmed and you can be absolutely certain that if this had happened on the orders of a Democratic vice president, Fox News would be running wall to wall coverage calling it the most irresponsible action in American history.

At the No Kings rally this weekend, one Alabama man took the opportunity to remind everyone just how badly Trump’s crony Republicans have mismanaged their state and how much the people of Alabama suffer under Republican rule.

Over a million people in Alabama rely on Medicaid. At least 300,000 people, maybe more, could gain access to health care if the state expanded Medicaid. That would also create and save jobs and ward off the closures of rural hospitals and health care services.”

But our state leaders continue to refuse to, and our national representatives, vote to cut health care. 130,000 Alabamians could lose their health care coverage. You can't call yourself pro-life and refuse to expand Medicaid.”

For those who don't know, the White House’s “East Room” is (was) a beautiful historic room where dances, receptions, press conferences, ceremonies, concerts, and banquets have been held since 1807. Trump is now tearing it down and replacing it with his own $200M ballroom. I guess paving over the Kennedy rose garden wasn’t enough. Next, he’ll likely demolish the Lincoln Bedroom and turn it into a gambling den. The man is absolutely shameless.
