BREAKING: Twenty states slam Donald Trump with a massive lawsuit over his disastrous decision to shut down a crucial multi-billion program designed to strengthen infrastructure before natural disasters hit.

And it gets even better...

"Communities across the country are being forced to delay, scale back, or cancel hundreds of mitigation projects depending on this funding,” the lawsuit, filed in federal court, reads.

"Projects that have been in development for years, and in which communities have invested millions of dollars for planning, permitting, and environmental review are now threatened. And in the meantime, Americans across the country face a higher risk of harm from natural disasters," it adds.

The suit argues that the MAGA-controlled Federal Emergency Management Agency illegally terminated its Building Resilient Infrastructures and Communities (BRIC) program without necessary Congressional approval.

The suit points out that not only did Congress not authorize the cuts to FEMA’s mitigation “functions and capabilities," they "specifically barred it."

"Therefore, the BRIC termination violates these statutes and ....

Trump Disowns Supporters Who've 'Bought into' Epstein Files 'Bulls---' as MAGA Fractures

The president doubled down on his latest claims that the Epstein files are a "hoax" in a social media rant
By Meredith Kile

  • Donald Trump went on a social media rant on Wednesday, July 16, shunning any MAGA supporters who believe that the administration is hiding information about Jeffrey Epstein
  • In the lengthy post, the president doubled down on his recent statements that the Epstein files are a "hoax" by Democrats and his political enemies
  • Earlier this week, Republicans in the House of Representatives voted down multiple resolutions to release more files to the public, despite a growing MAGA movement calling for transparency
President Donald Trump is doubling down on his recent claims about the Jeffrey Epstein files: that they're a "hoax" perpetrated by Democrats and his political enemies.

In a rambling post on his Truth Social page on Wednesday, July 16, the president wrote, “Scams and Hoaxes are all the Democrats are good at — It’s all they have — They are no good at governing, no good at policy, and no good at picking winning candidates.”

“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this 'bull——,' hook, line, and sinker,” Trump continued, denouncing the growing MAGA faction that has called for him to release more evidence related to Epstein's 2019 child sex-trafficking case.

“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats' work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!" he wrote.

One of those "weaklings" happens to be Trump's own daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, who called for more "transparency" surrounding ....

And back to Texas

Camp Mystic leader may not have seen urgent alert before Texas flood, family spokesman says

A spokesman for Camp Mystic, the Texas enclave devastated by a July 4 flash flood, is raising concerns about communication failures during the disaster
By SETH BORENSTEIN AP science writer

The leader of Camp Mystic had been tracking the weather before the deadly Texas floods, but it is now unclear whether he saw an urgent warning from the National Weather Service that had triggered an emergency alert to phones in the area, a spokesman for camp’s operators said Wednesday.

Richard “Dick” Eastland, the owner of Camp Mystic, began taking action after more than 2 inches of rain had fallen in the area along the Guadalupe River, said Jeff Carr, a spokesman for the family and the camp. He said Eastland had a “home weather station” and was monitoring the rain on July 4.

But after initially portraying to the media this week that Eastland got the weather alerts about a flash flood, Carr told The Associated Press that critical moment in the timeline of the tragedy isn’t as clear as the family and staff first thought. No one in the family or camp staff, Carr said, could now say whether Eastland got the alert at 1:14 a.m.

“It was assumed that just because ....
