The Second Term of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States of America

BREAKING: Donald Trump's big night at the Kennedy Center goes horribly wrong as attendees pelt him with insults and screams of "convicted felon" and "rapist" during a performance of Les Misérables.
This is exactly what this monster deserved...
The night started off rocky on the red carpet when a reporter tried to ask Trump about the roughly one dozen Kennedy Actors who were planning on walking out rather than perform for him.
"I couldn't care less!" Trump snapped, sounding like someone who couldn't possibly care more. "Honestly, I couldn’t. All I do is run the country well."
"There’s no inflation. People are happy. People are wealthy. The country is getting back to strength again," Trump claimed with Melania at his side. "That’s what I care about."
In reality, inflation is around 2.45%. Meanwhile, this administration is in free fall due to Trump's disastrous policies. Our allies are running into the arms of China as Trump turns America into an unreliable trading partner and flaky strategic partner, protests are sweeping the country in opposition to his fascist ICE crackdowns, and domestic economic growth has withered.
The Kennedy Center itself hasn't escaped Trump's incompetence either as his heavy-handed takeover of the Center's board has led to a more than 1/3 decrease in subscription sales.
Once inside, things went down hill fast...
After the conclusion of the first act, Trump and Melania stood up to a few cheers from some of their diehard supporters in the crowd. But the broader response was overwhelmingly negative.
"Felon, you’re a convicted felon!" one woman yelled up from the orchestra section. "Convicted felon, rapist!" A security guard quickly hustled over to her and appeared to escort her out.
While Trump was away from his seat, the crowd watched, waiting for him to return.
"F*ck Trump!" one person called out and was met with cheers and claps of approval. When someone else yelled "We love you" they were booed.
Trump eventually returned to his seat and pumped his fist three times, invoking his behavior in the moments immediately following the assassination attempt against him in Butler, Pennsylvania.
A group of drag queens engaged in a powerful act of protest by sitting beneath the presidential box, using their very presence to challenge Trump's vow that there will be no "woke" drag queen performances at the Kennedy Center under his rule.
Tara Hoot, one of the queens in question, said that their full drag appearance was a "message of inclusivity. I really love musicals, I mean I’m a drag queen.”
"A lot of people have been applauding, asking for pictures," said drag queen Vagenesis said. "Some people are throwing some glances, confused about what they see, but that’s always to be expected wherever we go."
The irony of Trump attending a performance of Les Misérables — a story about the deprivations of poverty, the unjust actions of brutal law enforcement, and armed revolution — while protests against MAGA rule are erupting all over America was not lost on some attendees.
"Seeing some of the actors and actresses, it looked like they were singing at him, instead of just singing to the crowd. And it felt really powerful and I liked it," attendee Cara Segur told CNN. She said that she "found it kind of ironic that he was here" given the content of the musical.
When the show finally ended, Trump scampered out before the lights came up, allowing him to evade further embarrassment.

Appeals court temporarily allows Trump to keep National Guard in LA

An appeals court has temporarily blocked a federal judge's order that directed the Trump administration to return control of California's National Guard troops back to the state.

The appeals court's decision came hours after a federal judge said Trump's deployment of the troops to Los Angeles to quell immigration raids was illegal.

Trump said he was sending the troops - who are typically under the governor's authority - to stop LA from "burning down" in protests against his immigration crackdown.

California Governor Gavin Newsom and other local officials rejected the move, however, and said it was an unnecessary provocation. The appeals court said it would hold a hearing on Tuesday.

At an earlier federal court hearing, Judge Charles Breyer said the question presented by California's request was whether Trump followed the law set by Congress on the deployment of a state's National Guard.

"He did not," the judge wrote in his decision. "His actions were illegal... He must therefore return control of the California National Guard to the Governor of the State of California forthwith."

But the judge stayed the order until Friday afternoon to give the Trump administration time to appeal against it. The administration did so almost immediately after the order was issued.

Newsom posted on social media on Thursday afternoon that "the court just confirmed what we all know — the military belongs on the battlefield, not on our city streets".

The Trump administration has said it took over California's National Guard to restore order and to protect Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as they swept up people in Los Angeles who were believed to be in the country illegally.

Despite Newsom's objections, Trump ordered a total of 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines to help quell the unrest. Some of the Guard troops are now authorised to detain people until police can arrest them.

A president last deployed the National Guard without a governor's consent more than 50 years ago - during the civil rights era. It is more common for a governor to activate troops to deal with natural disasters and other emergencies, and then .....

CONTINUED

But the the Court won't hold a hearing on this until Tuesday - means that there will be at least four more days of jackbooted thugs (aka the military) terrorizing the city.

When you've got fat fucks like this creating hypotheticals in their head and threatening people you know that the protestors are doing something right

PqnKmqq.jpeg

Of course it would help if they understood that respect is earned, not entitled, AND has to flow both ways

But some more commentary on the subject

Just an observation but that Sheriff's comments make it clear that the cops are a "clear and present danger" and he's in a "stand your ground state"??

BREAKING: Democratic Senator Alex Padilla rips apart the "BS" MAGA lies around the viral clip of fascist goons assaulting and detaining him at Kristi Noem’s press conference.
Republicans just turned this man into a political superstar…

“So as we’re waiting, waiting, I say, ‘Well, they haven’t been responding to our inquiries and our letters. Maybe we go listen in and see if they have anything new to say,’” he told the Pod Save America podcast.

Despite Republican claims that he was unruly and disruptive, Padilla explained that he was “literally being escorted” by a National Guard member and an FBI agent and was permitted to enter the room.

“They open the door for me. I’m standing in the back,” recounted the senator. “Trying to listen, you know, I don’t want to get in front of the cameras or in front of the reporters and just the rhetoric is too much.”

“Not the first time, but the second time they claim that Donald Trump and Secretary Noem is here to liberate the people of Los Angeles from the governor and from the mayor — that’s when I spoke up, right?” Padilla said. “I had a question to ask. I wanna call ’em out on their misinformation.”

“Anybody who’s seen the video knows that I repeatedly introduced myself,” he continued. “They knew who I was. I was not lunging at the secretary. I was, you know, halfway through the back of the room on one side trying to get a question out.”

“It took all of maybe half a second for multiple agents to be on me … and shoved out the door and before I know it, I’m on my knees, I’m on the ground getting in handcuffs,” said Padilla.

Trump officials claimed that the violent actions of Noem’s minions were justified because Senator Padilla failed to identify himself. In truth, the video shows that he clearly identified himself, saying “I’m Senator Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary.”

Not only that, but he was wearing a shirt with the United States Senate logo on it.

“It says U.S. Senate. And if you watch the video, I repeatedly introduced myself. So this is all BS. It’s all spin,” said Padilla.

The senator said that after the incident, he was able to speak with Noem for the first time.

“That’s why despite being in handcuffs one minute when being offered a meeting with her, an audience with her, to the next, I said yes, because I was there to do a job, right? I’m a member of the United States Senate,” said Padilla. “I have questions. I’m requesting information. And if that’s what it took to finally get an opportunity to ask those questions and get some information, then that’s why I took it.”

"The big takeaway here is if they’re willing to — if a senator asking a question scares them so much that they’ll deploy agents to put a United States senator in handcuffs, imagine what they’re doing to people out there, maybe subject to an immigration raid, who have a question … may be requesting their lawyer but not getting that opportunity,” he continued.

“These are dangerous times for the United States of America," concluded the senator.

Fear and Loathing: Closer to the Edge is in Los Angeles, CA, United States.

It actually happened. Not in a novel. Not in a movie. Not in some post-apocalyptic video game where the flag is faded and the streets are patrolled by faceless men in camo. In Los Angeles, in June 2025, a U.S. Marine zip-tied a civilian and handed them off to Homeland Security. It was broad daylight. It was caught on camera. And it was real.
This is not a drill. This is not an exaggeration. This is the moment when the line between military and civilian policing—once thick, bright, and legally sacred—got smudged into the pavement with the butt of a rifle.
Reuters confirmed the detention after showing photographic evidence to U.S. military officials, who acknowledged it. A Marine, deployed under President Trump’s domestic mobilization order, temporarily restrained a civilian outside the Wilshire Federal Building in Los Angeles. Zip ties. Arm grab. Hand-off to DHS. Just like that, posse comitatus took a body blow on camera.
Let’s be clear about what this means.
The Posse Comitatus Act has been federal law since 1878. It prohibits the use of active-duty military personnel in civilian law enforcement—except under extraordinary circumstances like invasion or insurrection. It was designed to prevent military crackdowns on the American people. Today, it was sidestepped under the thin legal justification of "force protection." According to U.S. Northern Command, Marines are allowed to "temporarily detain an individual in specific circumstances" if there’s a threat to federal personnel or property. In theory, it’s supposed to end the second civilian law enforcement takes over.
But this is not theory. This is America in 2025.
There are now hundreds of Marines and thousands of National Guard troops stationed in Los Angeles. Another 500 Marines are reportedly on the way. According to federal officials, those troops may accompany ICE agents during federal immigration operations. Let that settle. ICE, backed by combat-trained soldiers. Not metaphorically. Not symbolically. Literally.
This is how it begins: not with tanks, but with a handshake between bureaucrats and generals. Not with martial law, but with a "mission to protect property." And it doesn’t take a historian to recognize the pattern—once a military power is normalized on city streets, it rarely packs up and leaves without consequence.
If Trump invokes the Insurrection Act—a real possibility openly discussed by some officials—Marines wouldn’t just assist ICE. They could conduct arrests. Interrogate civilians. Enforce curfews. This isn’t dystopian speculation. It’s a legal switch. And it’s one signature away.
Trump has now shown he’s willing to deploy Marines—ostensibly to protect property, but functionally to intimidate dissent. And if it can happen in Los Angeles, it can happen anywhere. The legal groundwork is being tested. And once precedent is set—expect replication.
U.S. Marines detained a civilian. That’s the fact. But here’s the implication: this was a test. Of legality. Of optics. Of public reaction. And now that the test is over?
Welcome to the results.

BREAKING: Donald Trump's top biographer reveals the jaw-dropping racist smears that Trump is spreading about Alex Padilla on phone calls after the California Senator was attacked and detained at a Kristi Noem press conference.
This is disgusting even by MAGA standards...
"Trump saw these pictures and then has been on the phone saying to people, ‘Nobody’s ever heard of this guy.' As though that’s an excuse. And then he’s gone on to say, ‘and he looks like an illegal,’” journalist Michael Wolff told The Daily Beast Podcast.
The images of Padilla being forcibly removed from a press conference, slammed to the ground, and detained for simply attempting to ask a question have gone viral, sparking widespread backlash.
Trump's suggestion that Senator Padilla "looks like an illegal" is a racist as it gets. The implication, obviously, is that no person of Mexican heritage could possibly be a U.S. citizen. It doesn't matter how distinguished of a career you build for yourself, MAGA will always see you as inferior.
Also embedded in Trump's remarks is the deeply unAmerican idea that notoriety or fame should insulate you from violence and aggression. The suggestion is that since Trump has never heard of Padilla — an embarrassing admission from the president given the fact that there are only one hundred senators in this country — then Padilla deserved to be physically assaulted.
"If you are famous, that would obviously put you in a different category and ICE agents would not have tackled you," said Wolff, analyzing Trump’s warped psyche.
"Padilla is actually a relatively new senator from California, nobody knows about this person. Therefore, perfectly understandable that the ICE agents would tackle him. And of course he looks like ‘an illegal,'" he added.
"This is just his visceral response: Nobody’s ever heard of him," said Wolff. "We can take the blame off the ICE agents because they haven’t heard about this guy."
According to Wolff, Trump is "a little unsettled by the Padilla thing" because presumably even he can see that it's terrible optics for his administration.
"He’s rationalizing this in some way which might brand him as a complete racist once more. Although I’m sure he doesn’t particularly care about that," added Wolff.
The Trump administration has reacted dramatically to Wolff's reporting in the past and White House Communications Director Steven Cheung lashed out with a reheated statement—
"Michael Wolff is a lying sack of sh*t and has been proven to be a fraud," he said. "He routinely fabricates stories originating from his sick and warped imagination, only possible because he has a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain."
Clearly, Wolff has struck a nerve.

I don’t like feeling fear or being afraid. I mean, does anyone?

Fear is primal, and sure, it serves a purpose when you’re facing real danger. But the fear being pushed on the world today is being manufactured for profit and power. It’s definitely not about protecting people, it’s about controlling them. It divides us and distracts us and right now, we’re watching a master class in how fear is used for wrong.

In the USA, fear is now the central tool of politics. Immigrants and migrants are being blamed for economic hardship and crime. DEI programs are painted as dangerous and divisive. Judges, educators, and journalists are all being framed as threats and people we should distrust.

In Canada, over 33% of biz owners are immigrants. In the USA it’s a fact that immigrants commit fewer crimes than citizens born there. Undocumented workers pay more than $20 billion in taxes yearly, including into Social Security (which they don’t even receive). And, by the way, being undocumented isn’t a criminal offense it’s a civil violation.

These are people contributing to society, not taking from it. They are building America, not destroying it.

But fear is way louder than facts, because we don’t feel facts. We feel fear. So immigrants become political pawns not because the facts support it, but because fear gives people power.

The same fear is being used against DEI. The fact is that diverse teams make better decisions, build more trust, and outperform homogenous ones.

Transgender athletes are another manufactured threat. Fewer than 10 transgender athletes are competing across over 500,000 college student athletes in the USA, but somehow, they’ve become a national crisis. It’s absurd. And it’s cruel.

Democracies weaken with fear. Fear of each other, of our differences, and of imagined threats.

What frightens me isn’t immigration or diversity. It’s how fast suspicion about each other spreads. How easily neighbours become enemies. How many people fall for the lie that inclusion is dangerous.

I’m so proud to be Canadian. Proud that we’re a mosaic, not a melting pot. Proud that we value difference, not sameness. But that only matters if we’re willing to protect it.
Immigrants aren’t the problem.

Black people aren’t the problem.
Women aren’t the problem.
Gay people aren’t the problem.
Trans people aren’t the problem.

The problem is the super elite in power who believe they’re entitled to control the rest of us. Who weaponize fear to hold on to power and $.

I’m tired of it. I’m tired of fear. I’m tired of seeing each other as enemies instead of as decent humans trying to survive and live with dignity.

There’s real evil in the world for us to fear and focus on. Hezbollah, Hamas, The IRGC-Quds Force, Al-Qaeda. ISIS. The Wagner Group. And I could go on.

We should fear and fight factions like that not the people who are escaping from horrors in order to save their lives and live in peace.

Trump's financial disclosures reveal tens of millions in income from guitars, bibles and watches with his name on them

June 13, 2025, 5:48 PM GMT-5 / Updated June 13, 2025, 8:13 PM GMT-5 / By Rob Wile, Steve Kopack and Elyse Perlmutter-Gumbiner
President Donald Trump continues to enjoy income streams from scores of luxury properties and business ventures, many of which are worth tens of millions of dollars, according to a financial disclosure form filed late Friday.
Released by the Office of Government Ethics, Trump’s 2025 financial disclosure spans 234 pages in all, including 145 pages of stock and bond investments, and is dated Friday with Trump’s signature.
One of the largest sources of income on the form is the $57,355,532 he received from his ownership stake in World Liberty Financial, the cryptocurrency platform launched last year. The form shows that World Liberty’s sales of digital tokens have been highly lucrative for Trump and his family. Trump’s three sons, Donald Jr., Eric, and Barron, are listed on the company’s website as co-founders of the firm.
Separately, Trump’s meme coin, known on crypto markets simply as $TRUMP, was not released until January and is therefore not subject to the disclosure requirements for this form, which covered the calendar year 2024.

"... the presidential campaign of 1984, when I wrote this for Walter Mondale: "In Reagan's America, a rising tide lifts all yachts." Mr. Mondale lost every state but Minnesota, but my line lived on. Through the years it has been stolen by the best -- Molly Ivins, Ralph Nader, Joseph Stiglitz, Warren Buffett, Doonesbury -- and always without credit."

BREAKING: MAGA Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem takes her photo op addiction to a disgusting new low by joining an ICE raid on the home of an American citizen and pregnant mother of four.
Fascist Barbie is really living up to her nickname now...
"I was just terrified, I’m not going to lie to you. I was shaking. I was scared. I’ve never gone through anything like this," Sabrina Medina, who is a U.S. citizen, told Nexstar’s KTLA.
She looked outside of her house in Huntington, California around 6 A.M. and was shocked to see roughly six vehicles with ten heavily armed ICE agents accompanied by Noem.
"I was like, ‘Am I dreaming or is this real?’" said Medina.
She was ordered to exit her house with her children. Once she was in the driveway, the agents showed her a warrant for her husband, named as David Garcia. She tried to explain that her husband's name is actually Jorge and he was not at the house.
Suspiciously, an outdoor home surveillance camera caught one of the agents turning his face away from the lens as if to conceal his identity. There’s a reason these cowards hide their faces. Some are ashamed, some fear public backlash, and some are afraid of facing legal consequences for their paramilitary actions once Democrats are back in power.
The agents raided the house as Noem stood outside in her bulletproof vest, cosplaying as a tough soldier in full glam makeup. Unable to find their target, she and the agents eventually departed.
“I’m very disappointed in this government right now and what they’re doing,” Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn told KTLA.
Noem later boasted about the horrifyingly unjust raid during the now-infamous press conference where California Senator Alex Padilla was brutally shoved, manhandled, and detained on camera.
Medina, who is four months pregnant, painted a grim picture of her family’s future if her husband is deported. She would likely have to uproot her children’s lives and follow him to Mexico.
“I’m not going to be able to pay my rent when I have to pay it,” she said. “My husband is not here. I don’t know if they’re going to pick him up tomorrow, the day after tomorrow. It’s sad.”

Truly the dumbest people in modern world history. Dear MAGA, it’s not JUST real Americans laughing at you. It’s also the rest of the world

And just like that, TACO Trump strikes again.

Five minutes before midnight east coast time, Trump directed ICE to abruptly halt all immigrant raids at farms, restaurants, hotels, and the like. Trump also directed ICE to stop so-called 'collateral arrests' where ICE randomly detains and arrests non-criminal immigrants.

Last month, Trump dropped his tariffs. Weeks ago, Trump folded to Canada. This week he folded to China. And now Trump is folding on a key plank of his deportation agenda just a day after calling in the Marines to Los Angeles.

The midnight directive to ICE marks an abrupt pivot in Trump's immigration agenda and sidelines immigration hardliners like resident Nazi Stephen Miller in favor of MAGA's corporate and billionaire donors.

Trump's rich friends told him the reality which is immigrants contribute more than anyone knows to this nation. They grow all our food, prepare all of our food, distribute our food, and in many cases as caretakers and child care workers they spoon feed food. Immigrants pay a higher tax rate than billionaires and they are the single greatest factor behind economic growth. In short, Trump's rich friends put the scare on him.

Gavin Newsom also put the scare on him. Trump thought he'd bowl over Newsom and take control of California's National Guard without a fight, but California's Governor called him a cheesy, washed up, mentally unstable dictator in front of the entire national audience. He challenged Trump legally, morally, clearly and unequivocally. California Senator Alex

Padilla attracted global media attention after he was tackled and arrested by Homeland Security goons.

Protesters across the country put the scare on him. Immigrant communities across the country are on the frontlines of resistance against the terror inflicted by the administration and they're fighting back more furiously and effectively than ever before. They are stopping ICE cars and busses, intervening in raids, de-arresting their friends and families, and generally making life hell on earth for the masked predators hanging out at schools and churches looking for children and moms to snatch up and whisk away in unmarked vans.

Trump paid a massive political price for trying to criminalize regular working people. The more voters see what his immigration agenda is really about, the more they hate it.

Trump's polling numbers are going down faster than Kristi Noem at a MAGA keg party. He's nearly 20 points underwater on inflation, he's 13 points underwater on the economy, and on immigration—which was his one bright spot—he's now also underwater as of this week.

Let it be known for the rest of eternity that on the eve of the largest nationwide revolt against America's wannabe king, the silver spoon punk ass bitch chicken taco'd out and threw in the white flag BEFORE A SINGLE PROTESTER HIT THE STREET.
