The Second Term of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States of America

"They don't give a %$#@ what he does. He's just something to rally around and hate liberals, that's it, period." #519
Sad that such attitude exists in our country, in our culture. But in a population of hundreds of millions, we can expect 6 sigma deviations.
Problem is, Trump won the election, AFTER the embarrassment of his first four year term four years earlier.

So while discomforting, this is more than merely a "lunatic fringe". This is a "lunatic" segment of the electorate powerful enough not merely to re-elect Trump, but to plunge
the United States into Constitutional crisis (Garcia / El Salvador) and humanity into an economic crisis with Trump's global trade war.

“Dear Republicans:
You didn’t object when you heard Donald Trump say he likes to grab women “by the pussy.”
You didn’t object when he kicked the American media out of the Oval Office and handed two Russian spies classified data entrusted to him by one of our allies.
You didn’t object when he likened our intelligence community to “Nazis.”
You didn’t object when he stood before the Memorial Wall of Stars at Langley and told lie after lie about himself and the election.
You didn’t object while at the Helsinki Summit, he met behind closed doors with the Russian President.
You didn’t object to him banning the American Press from covering that meeting.
You didn’t object when he emerged from that meeting and sided with the Russian President over the findings of our own intelligence community.
You didn’t object when the Trump campaign admitted to accepting Russian offers to help him defeat SecState Clinton.
You didn’t object when he stood before the cameras and said; “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find 30k e-mails that are missing.”
You didn’t object when the Russians responded that VERY DAY with stolen emails.
You didn’t object when it was confirmed that the basis for the Trump Tower meeting was a total fabrication. That it had nothing to do with adopting Russian children, and everything to do with swinging the election.
You didn’t object when it was revealed that Trump himself floated the cover story of adoptions from Russia.
You didn’t object when it was confirmed that his campaign staff had met with Russian agents over 150 times, after claiming they had never met with them at all.
You didn’t object when the Trump campaign declined to inform the FBI about the Russian advances.
You didn’t object when Trump’s campaign manager gave internal data on four key battleground states to agents working for Putin.
You sure as hell didn’t object when those very same four battleground states miraculously shifted towards trump on Election Day.
You didn’t object when Trump kicked his Attorney General out of the room and asked the FBI Director to let his National Security Advisor off the hook for lying about his contacts with Russian agents.
You didn’t object when Trump fired that FBI Director for declining to let Flynn off the hook.
You didn’t object when Special Counsel Robert Mueller said he couldn’t establish a conspiracy, largely because so many of Trump’s staffers lied during their interviews, and because Trump himself refused to submit to a live interview.
You didn’t object when Special Counsel Mueller cited no fewer than ten instances of the president himself obstructing justice in his report: an impeachable offense.
You didn’t object when it was revealed he cheated on his wife with a porn star.
You didn’t object when it was revealed that he paid off that porn star to the tune of $130,000.00 to buy her silence just prior to the election, an illegal attempt to hide relevant facts from the electorate.
You didn’t object when he withdrew the U.S. from the JCPOA, which was the first and ONLY treaty that’s successfully kept Iranian nuclear ambitions in check.
You didn’t object when he pulled us out of the Paris Climate Accords.
You didn’t object when he scuttled the Obama administration’s clean air and water standards.
You didn’t object when he opened up vast tracts of protected wilderness to his friends in the oil and mining industries.
You didn’t object to the myriad cases of violations of the emoluments clause.
You didn’t object when he mocked a disabled man at one of his rallies.
You didn’t object to the recently-discovered military stopovers at Trump properties in Scotland.
You didn’t object when after mass shooting after mass shooting, he wouldn’t lift a finger to protect even little school children from gun violence.
You didn’t object when he started putting tariffs on everyone from China to Turkey, which have undeniably hurt millions of people around the world and shaken the stock markets.
You didn’t object when he gave the corporate farming industry $26B in compensation for their losses due to his tariffs.
You didn’t object when he channeled $3.6B in Pentagon appropriations to his wall on the Mexican border.
You didn’t object when Trump called out against “Islamic terrorism” on multiple occasions, but never once for terrorism by white nationalists.
You didn’t object when he forcibly separated little children from their parents.
You didn’t object when he confined those children to chain-link paddocks.
You didn’t object when a whistleblower revealed the president had on multiple occasions said things that potentially undermined our nation’s safety and security.
You didn’t object when his personal lawyer, his personal consultant, and his army of sycophants at Fox News have repeatedly and consistently lied about ALL of the above for three excruciatingly long years.
So here’s my question for you: What about any of the above do you believe entitles you to the right to call yourselves “patriots?” In anything other than today’s bizarro-world, you wouldn’t even make the rank of American. When this nightmare ends, we’ll remind you of just how patriotic you were during these days. Your karma is gonna sting.”

While tens of millions of Americans still treat Donald Trump like some misunderstood patriot-warrior, part martyr, part messiah, the rest of the world sees him clearly for what he is: a petty, erratic, blustering extortionist with all the depth of a used car salesman and the impulse control of a vengeful toddler. And nowhere was that more evident than this week in Japan’s House of Representatives, where opposition lawmaker Shinji Oguma stood up and gave the kind of blistering, soul-cleansing truth that would cause half of Congress to hide under their desks.

Oguma didn't hedge or sanitize. He called Trump a juvenile delinquent engaged in extortion. He warned his government that good faith is seen as weakness by the Trump regime.

He urged ministers to watch documentaries about Roy Cohn and Trump as a necessary act of strategic self-defense. Because when you're dealing with a man like Trump, reason is useless and appeasement is a guarantee of more abuse.

His words weren’t just a slap, they were a survival manual. He described Trump’s logic as so chaotic, it “would score zero on a math test.” And he warned that every concession Japan made would not lead to peace, but invite more chaos. Because, as Oguma understood, and as so many Americans still refuse to grasp, you don’t negotiate with a conman.

You don’t deal with a mob boss in good faith. You contain him.

Contrast that with Trump’s press conference days earlier, where he dismissed rising global cooperation with China as “nothing,” claimed “nobody can compete with us,” and mangled the name of a slain Japanese prime minister as he turned a supposed tribute into a clumsy sales pitch. It wasn’t just disrespectful, it was disqualifying. But here in the U.S., his base clapped like trained seals. And the media? They covered it like theater. Again.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Japan Rahm Emanuel has been practically yelling into the void for weeks. He warned that Trump’s reckless tariff tantrums would backfire, that the U.S. was alienating key allies, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and creating a strategic vacuum China would be more than happy to fill. And that’s exactly what happened. Trump’s “toughness” didn’t scare Beijing. It delighted them. They watched as America lashed out at its own allies, undermined decades of coalition-building, and handed China a diplomatic gift basket stuffed with opportunity.

What Emanuel said, and what the American media still won’t confront, is that Trump has flushed years of delicate, essential diplomacy down the drain. Not because he had a better plan. Not because he’s playing some genius-level 4D chess. But because chaos is the brand. Sabotage is the point. And weakness, real weakness, is thinking that bullying your allies and golfing through international crises makes you strong.

And still, millions cheer. Because here’s the cruel twist: while the rest of the world assesses Trump based on his actions, many Americans treat him like a fictional character whose crimes and failures only add to his legend. He’s the outlaw hero in the story they’ve been fed by cable news, clickbait factories, and Facebook rage loops. And the press, mainstream, corporate, legacy, played an enormous role in shaping that myth.

From the moment he descended that golden escalator, media executives saw ratings gold, not a threat to democracy. They gave him billions in free coverage, breathlessly aired every insult, every scandal, every rally. They let him phone into shows unchallenged, normalized his lies with euphemisms like “controversial statements,” and built him into an unstoppable force of narrative gravity. Even now, some outlets treat his criminal indictments like juicy subplots rather than existential alarms.

It’s no wonder that it takes a Japanese lawmaker to stand up and say what most of our own won’t: this man is an extortionist. This regime is not rational. You do not bargain with a wrecking ball. You hold firm and you don’t flinch.

That speech went viral for a reason. Because Shinji Oguma said what millions around the world are thinking, and what far too many Americans still can’t, or won’t, face.

And maybe, just maybe, the next time Trump pulls out his Sharpie-scrawled tariff charts or tries to strong-arm another ally while the media calls it a “pivot,” someone in our government will remember Oguma’s words.

Watch the documentaries. Study the behavior. Know exactly who you’re dealing with. And don’t give him a damn thing.

BREAKING: Donald Trump lashes out in a panic after Senator Chris Van Hollen bravely flies to El Salvador to meet with the imprisoned Kilmar Abrego Garcia — posting a picture with the innocent Maryland father to prove that he's still alive.

The MAGA cult leader can't stand it when someone else nabs headlines...

"Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland looked like a fool yesterday standing in El Salvador begging for attention from the Fake News Media, or anyone," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "GRANDSTANDER!!!"

The outburst was prompted by Van Hollen posting a picture of himself sitting and talking with Abrego Garcia.

"I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance," wrote Van Hollen. "I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return."

Of course, to any normal person with a sense of justice, Van Hollen's trip didn't look like "grandstanding," it looks like a genuine demonstration of compassion and concern for the rule of law.

While Trump and his lapdog Republicans are content to let Abrego Garcia rot in a brutal prison — despite the Trump administration already admitting in court that he was accidentally deported due to an "administrative error" — Van Hollen is boldly taking action to uphold this man's rights.

By refusing to facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia, Trump is openly defying the Supreme Court. He has proudly staked out his place as the most lawless president in American history.

This scandal is an absolute nightmare for the Trump administration. They have no evidence for their smears that Abrego Garcia is a gang member and no moral argument for keeping him imprisoned.

Instead, Trump and far-right El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele are doubling down on this illegal authoritarian detainment as a display of brute power. In the process, they're alienating the entire civilized world.

Thanks for the heads-up.
"Does the United States take pride in such an act?" Yemen military commander
That's the right question commander.
The complication is you've used a collective singular noun for a nation of hundreds of millions.

It's exceedingly unlikely President Trump has or will develop a conscience. So Trump is not likely to lament such a senseless massacre, regardless of his after-the-fact rhetoric.

Further, at this moment there's a palace coup d'état within the U.S. military ("Pentagon"). Secretary Hegseth is according to the Trump administration opposed by the entire Pentagon.
And Hegseth is evidently indifferent even to U.S. military troops involved, as he continues to violate U.S. military protocols by disclosing combat related information via unsecured channels.

While I'm surely not their spokesman, I'm confident there are a hundred million that offer condolence for the loss of innocent life at the hands of the U.S. military.

You recognize the problems sir.
The solutions elude U.S.

Due to an oversight some people have been left off the list of invitees - not to worry tho - as system administrator I'm sure Putin will correct that

BREAKING: MAGA Governor Ron DeSantis is caught in a jaw-dropping scandal as it's exposed that he funneled $10 million in taxpayer money to his wife's charity, who gave it to dark money groups, who then donated $8.5 million to his minion's PAC.

Even Republicans are calling this illegal. It's the kind of corruption that ends up in history books...

The scandal originated with a settlement agreement between Florda and Centene, the state's largest Medicaid contractor, after it was discovered that the company had over-billed taxpayers for medications by a staggering $67,048,611.

Instead of depositing that money in state and federal accounts like they were supposed to, DeSantis's administration funneled $10 million of it to the Hope Florida Foundation, a charity overseen by his wife Casey DeSantis.

That money was then rerouted to two dark money organizations that are not legally required to report how they spend their funds. Those very same groups then turned around and gave $8.5 million to a PAC overseen by DeSantis’ then-chief of staff.

The stunning embezzlement scheme was exposed by a draft agreement obtained by The Miami Herald which directly contradicts claims made by DeSantis and his officials that the $10 million contribution from Centene was separate from the Medicaid settlement.

"This is kind of like a cherry on top, where they agreed to make an additional contribution," DeSantis lied.

This is nothing short of a heist of public funds. DeSantis took money that belonged to the people of Florida and deposited it right into the pocket of his wife and his lackey's political action committee.

If DeSantis and everyone involved in this crime don't end up behind bars, it will be a grave miscarriage of justice. Republicans all across the country will see it as open season on the public coffers.

Nothing will happen. After all, it's Florida and Republicans. They elected Scott. Convicted of the biggest Medicare scam in history and still got a senate seat.

The Second Term of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States of America

There's no plausible denying the severity of the Trump administration's deliberate institutional destruction.

- but -

It's not 100% gloom.
Example:
HHS Secretary RFKj wallows in conspiracy theories. But RFKj's health concerns regarding food dye may merit consideration.

Eight artificial dyes will be phased out of US food supply, Health Secretary RFK Jr. says

Swapna Venugopal Ramaswamy / USA TODAY

Eight artificial dyes will be eliminated from medications and the nation's food supply by the end of 2026, including those found in candy, ice cream, soft drinks and jams, according to Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

For years, Kennedy has railed against Big Food and Big Pharma and blamed the nation’s “chronic disease epidemic” on additives and junk food, including during his campaign for president in the 2024 Democratic primaries and then as an independent. After he endorsed President Donald Trump, Trump incorporated those ideas into his own campaign and they're now part of the new administration's Make America Healthy Again agenda .

The dyes that will be phased out in less than two years are FD&C Blue Nos. 1 and 2, FD&C Green No. 3, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Yellow Nos 5 and 6. In the coming months, the process will begin to revoke authorization of Orange B, Citrus Red No. 2, according to the HHS.

To be determined:
Even if the absence of such dyes as "Red No. 40" improve the nutrition profile, will $sales waver if factory beef goes to market its natural color?

Fortified breakfast cereals can be a useful source of fibre, vitamins and minerals – but some are considered ultra-processed food.
We're often told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Get this decision right and your nutritious morning meal can help keep you energised and focused for whatever challenges come your way. Yet the choice of what to eat for breakfast – or what to give your children if you have them – can feel overwhelming at times.
If, like 53% of the US population you decide to go the breakfast cereal route every week, then you can take your pick. There's porridge oats, granola, muesli, bran flakes, corn flakes, and puffed rice – the options are endless, with each colourful box promising to deliver a healthy, nutritious meal. Yet, although breakfast cereals have traditionally been seen this way, some scientists warn that these are ultra-processed snacks – and they are not actually good for us at all.
So, what is the truth, and what kind of cereals – if any – should we be eating?
First off, some facts. Cereals are grasses from the Poaceae family, cultivated for their edible seeds, or grains. Cereal crops include wheat, rice, oats, barley and corn. Each cereal grain has three main edible components. There's the outer layer of bran, which is rich in fibre, B vitamins and trace minerals. Then there's the endosperm, which is packed with starch and proteins to support the developing plant embryo. Finally, the germ contains the embryo, and is rich in oils, vitamins and minerals.
