For decades the U.S.' fourth estate has been redesigned by our evolving techno-culture.
Though even newspaper readers may not have fully noticed the evolution, the bustling newsroom is an anachronism.

It is a painful, alarming reality that mass communication has never been better facilitated. But that addresses the medium, not the message. We have the means to spread the word.
The weak link in this magnificent communication chain is the supply of on the job journalists.
