My brain hurts just from reading this

"One of the problems we have with AI, it's both good and bad. If something happens, really bad, just blame AI. But also they create things. You know, it works both ways. If something happens, it's really bad, maybe I'll have to just blame AI." ~
Trump

It's safe to say that a significant part of America (in fact the World) wishes the same thing. It's just they're not as patient as he is.

"I want to try and get to heaven, if possible. I'm hearing I'm not doing well. I am really at the bottom of the totem pole." ~
Trump, on why he wants to help end the war in Ukraine

"I think the president was serious. I think he wants to get to heaven, as I hope we all do in this room as well." ~ WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, asked if Trump was serious

"As previously mentioned, we are giving serious thought to taking away Rosie O'Donnell's Citizenship. She is not a Great American and is, in my opinion, incapable of being so!" ~ Trump

"If you think that Joe Biden was a better leader or a better man than Vladimir Putin, I don't even know what to say to you. That's insane...Why is he more evil than Joe Biden? I can't even conceptualize that." ~ Tucker Carlson

"If you think that Joe Biden was a better leader or a better man than Vladimir Putin, I don't even know what to say to you. That's insane...Why is he more evil than Joe Biden? I can't even conceptualize that." ~ Tucker Carlson
It may be considered a delicious irony that the self-confessed intellectually deficient Mr. Carlson cannot, or will not confess to distinguishing between these two global influencers, at opposite ends of the spectrum of benevolent global leadership.
Apparently Carlson is attempting to undermine Biden in particular, or the Democrats in general.
But to the cognitively competent, Carlson undermines his own intellect & value system more than he does the lifelong achievement of one of our nations most faithful living public servants.

This can be reduced to a quantifiable certitude, simply by counting corpses.
Biden may have shamefully more corpses on his own body count than he should, for example the tragically reckless way Biden deserted the good People of Afghanistan.
But Putin has far outpaced Biden in killing innocents.
Either Carlson doesn't know that, or does know, but accepts & embraces it.

Which of these two is supposed to leave us feeling OK about Tucker Carlson?

"Didn't Trump brag about setting things up in such a manner that Biden didn't have a choice?" S2 #1,648
Approximately perhaps. You wouldn't be the first to recognize Trump a braggart.

BUT !!

To accept such Trump boast without circumspection is to severely insult Biden's political skill.
Even if Trump deliberately sabotaged, Biden had options that would not have forfeited whatever constructive potential might otherwise have accrued to the U.S.' longest War.

Trump's a bad guy. Fine.
But Biden bungled badly. Needlessly. And in a practical sense the consequence of this Biden bungling is the 2,459 U.S. military troops we forfeited in Afghanistan died for nothing.

It doesn't get much more tragic than that, particularly when most West Point sophomores could have handled it better than Biden did. Let us hope in Biden's half-century of service, he hasn't bungled more severely than this.

"I love the smell of deportations in the morning. Chicago is about to find out why it's called the Department of WAR." ~ Trump post, with Apocalypse Now-style artwork

"The President of the United States is threatening to go to war with an American city. This is not a joke. This is not normal...Illinois won't be intimidated by a wannabe dictator." ~ Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker

"The President of the United States is threatening to go to war with an American city. This is not a joke. This is not normal...Illinois won't be intimidated by a wannabe dictator." ~ Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker

"Killing cartel members who poison our fellow citizens is the highest and best use of our military." JD
Disputing the facts aside Mr. VP, the U.S. military incident also has legal ramifications.
Whether it's considered mass murder, killing all aboard, or piracy, or an act of war, that's for the experts to decide.
But the fig leaf we tend to hide behind is first holding a law court trial, and obtaining a conviction. By what interpretation of international law would you claim this homicide is not murder?

"Killing the citizens of another nation who are civilians without any due process is called a war crime." Krassenstein
It may be, if the nations at issue are at war.
According to the Constitution's Art.1 Sect.8-11 it is congress that has the authority to declare war. Has it done so in this case?
