It is unlikely U.S. sovereignty would be seriously deliberately threatened by Ukraine.
The risk is a militarily expansionist Russia.

The U.S. (Trump) can stand by as FDR did while Germany / Hitler was expanding and amassing power, and wait until the crisis reached World War scale,
thus enabling Russia to acquire Ukraine, and gain power,

or we can strangle the baby in the crib.

The U.S. can either provide Ukraine the weaponry necessary to smack Russia down, and send her (Putin) packing, - OR -
allow Russia's military conquest to fester & grow into a crisis that will then require both American blood AND treasure to subdue / defeat.

Sober up Donald.
If you don't want the U.S. at War with Russia, then promptly provide Ukraine with whatever Ukraine requests / requires to finish this War, WITHOUT American blood soaking Ukrainian soil.
