President-Elect Trump: the introduction to round two

S2 #100
Thanks for the insight S2. I'm not accusing you of the meme's authorship. But: "Choose your enemy well, for he is who you will become." Hebrew adage
Trump is the poster child for playing fast & loose with the facts. Doesn't make sense to me to ostensibly refute his errors by mirroring them. *

[With the White House in background] "Registered Sex Offender Lives In This Area" #100

"Trump has never been convicted of a sex crime and isn’t required to register as a sex offender, which means the White House won't appear on any such registry. He was found liable in a civil case for sexually abusing writer E. Jean Carroll."
Trump found liable for sexual abuse in civil case
In May 2023, a federal jury found Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing Carroll in the dressing room of a New York City department store in the mid-1990s and later defaming her. Trump was ordered to pay $5 million in damages.

If you'll pardon my compound metaphor, the elephant in the living room is a bull in a china shop.
That's not an endorsement of sexual predation, a serious crime. But unlike insurrection, sexual predation is not elevated to Constitutional status, as both insurrection, and the presidency are.

Trump was instrumental in fomenting violent insurrection, and according to the United States Constitution is not eligible to hold the office of president, AND SHOULD THEREFORE NEVER HAVE BEEN ALLOWED ON EITHER PRIMARY OR GENERAL ELECTION BALLOTS.
[Trump] "summoned the mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack. Everything that followed was his doing. ... There has never been a greater betrayal by a president of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution."

* "Registered" sex offender? Reportedly not.
Convicted felon? Reportedly so.

Trump's return puts Medicaid on the chopping block

Under President Biden, enrollment in Medicaid hit a record high and the uninsured rate reached a record low.

Donald Trump's return to the White House — along with a GOP-controlled Senate and House of Representatives — is expected to change that.

Republicans in Washington say they plan to use funding cuts and regulatory changes to dramatically shrink Medicaid, the nearly $900-billion-a-year government health insurance program that, along with the related Children's Health Insurance Program, serves about 79 million mostly low-income or disabled Americans.

The proposals include rolling back the Affordable Care Act's expansion of Medicaid, which over the last 11 years added about 20 million low-income adults to its rolls. Trump has said he wants to ...

"I'm not gunna cut Social Security like every other Republican. I'm not gunna cut Medicare or Medicaid." Candidate Donald Trump 15/05/26

"I am going to take care of everybody. I don't care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody's gunna be taken care of much better than they're taken care of now." Candidate Trump 15/09/27 to CBS Scott Pelly

Alphabet Soup is delicious.
But it's difficult to spell out complete sentence with it while it's churning in the blender.

Deducing Trump's undertakings is a coin-toss independent of complicating factors.
Complications in a 2nd Trump term include:
- Elon Musk
- House Speaker Johnson
- Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD)
- perhaps even public pressure

We may not know the outcome. But it's likely the process will be approximately as chaotic as Trump's first four year presidential term.

#105 & #106

The rational mind observing Trump may be flummoxed.

This is the inevitable consequence of applying an overlay of rational pragmatism to Trump.
Such context does not apply.

Substitute Trump's own irrational devotion to chaotic anti-pragmatism and the puzzle vanishes.

Historian LAUGHS as Trump Flunks History Lesson

Those with conscience may wrongly infer embarrassment in the shameless like Trump.
Trump's concern about such exposures seems limited to what may impede him.

Donald Trump Jr. Says There’s ‘Fairly Definitive Evidence’ of Aliens—and Elon Musk Should Look Into It

Alien-obsessed Donald Trump Jr. believes there is convincing evidence that extra terrestrial beings are headed for Earth, and he wants SpaceX chief Elon Musk to be briefed on the imminent invasion. Don Jr., the eldest child of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and his first wife Ivana Trump, has shown more than a fleeting interest in aliens in the past, and his far-reaching cosmic gaze enticed him to invite UAP expert Ross Coulthart onto his “Triggered” podcast. https://news.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-jr-says-fairly-150214638.html

Trump versus the Gulf of Mexico

The president-elect may be a caricature of xenophobic bombast, but unilateral cartographic adjustments have always been part and parcel of imperialism.

Did Trump also say he wanted Denali to be called Mount McKinley again? A finger in the eye to aboriginal Americans?
Perhaps Trump thinks we haven't taken enough from them already.

OK DJ,
So by "economic disaster" you mean it undercuts the others?
If imposing tariffs is the economic cure-all you present it to be, why not tax wind-turbines so the electricity they generate costs as much
as that from the sources you favor?

Commercial electric generating wind turbines kill birds. So do glass windows.

"Windmills are an ... environmental disaster." DJ
Splendid DJ.
If you're willing to compound humanity's atmospheric Carbon problem for sake of environmental benefit,
are you willing to ban window glass as well? Or perhaps pass an environmental law through our Republican controlled congress to require safety nets on all exterior windows?
Imagine what an economic boon that would be! Not only manufacturing and installing such window netting throughout the United States, but also employing workers to
free birds entangled by the Trump window netting.

"I will build a great, great window net from coast to coast to coast. And I will have Canada pay for that netting, mark my words." inspired by, satirizing the following quotation:
"I will build a great, great wall on our Southern border. And I will have Mexico pay for that wall, mark my words." Republican primary presidential candidate Donald J. Trump 15/06/16 www.DonaldJTrump.com
