In Bogart's Key Largo L.E.O. enters an automobile from the passenger door, and then slides across the bench to sit behind the wheel.
This isn't cinematic gymnastics. It was considered easier than walking around the car to the driver's door.

Try doing that with bucket seats and a center console.
I've had to do it when someone parked so close to my driver side door that I couldn't open it.
Lucky you didn't accidentally trigger the ejection seat. I hate it when that happins.
It's not complicated,
just a chair with rockets on it.
No landing wheels, so try to land
on a trampoline or haystack.

Since it looks like the 50's, it is just surprising since people were more judgmental back then as I recall?
The hair of the person on the right looked long to me, and I think I see a breast?

The car does look to be from the 50's but the long hair looks like a "ducktail haircut" (also from the 50's) and I don't see any sign of a breast.
And if it were a guy you wouldn't see it, because his hand would obscure it?

It is not clear to me what the red circles area is?
It is not the woman on the left since the color is different, and the person on the right would not have anything sticking out that far if they were a man?
