There may be a little more to this story than the meme discloses.
- If the package were not adequately marked, &
- if the shipment was not accompanied by a museum courier
there may have been non-zero risk that an inadequately labeled shipment might have left baggage handlers mystified, resulting in the mystery corpse ending up in the landfill.

That is not the only possible explanation.

BUT !!
It was good of the pharaoh to smile for his passport photograph.

The '60's vintage civil rights ancestor of this joke:
A Black man takes a seat at the lunch counter. The waiter approaches and says: "We don't serve n-word here."
The Black customer replies: "That's fine. I don't eat those. I'll have a cheeseburger."
