For moving picture fans, interesting how many popular series were cancelled, and then like the phoenix, arose again.
Bonanza struggled, but avoided the chopping block because sponsor RCA wanted to sell more color televisions, and Bonanza was one of the few series shot in / broadcast in color.
Gunsmoke wobbled, dodged cancellation with a switch of time slots, displacing and thereby ending Gilligan's Island.
The Shatner / Nimoy version of Star Trek was terminated, the Enterprise bridge set destroyed, before the series was uncancelled.
Nichelle Nicole disclosed, she decided to withdraw from the series, but was persuaded by Doctor Martin Luther King to remain in the cast, as she presented a positive role model.
Beam us up Scotty! They got a mad man down here, bustin' up stuff. Says his name is "Trump".

William Shatner was born with powerful thespian ambition. From young age he knew he wanted to act in the worst way.
His role in Star Trek enabled him to do so.

B.S. is not merely a U.S. entertainment workhorse. He's also dipped his toe in marketing, offering a line of ladies lingerie. BUT !!
They didn't sell very well. Not many women wanted to buy "Shatner Panties". - badda boom badda bing ! -
