Not clear how accurate this is - there's a lot to criticize

YouTuber and former NASA engineer Mark Rober put Tesla's vision-based safety features up against a LiDAR system, testing them in various stimulated conditions such as heavy rain and a child running out into the road.

All Tesla vehicles built for the North American market feature multiple external cameras and vision processing to perform its various functions, including autopilot. Tesla claims vision-based systems with traditional optical cameras are better overall because they can better determine what objects exist near the vehicle and improve over time using AI (artificial intelligence)
😑
. Vision-based camera systems are cheaper. The more expensive LiDAR (light detection and ranging) technology has a superior 3D mapping capability.

Tesla has been removed as an exhibitor for the upcoming Vancouver auto show. Seems the organizers were worried about protests and vandalism.

Once again, it’s a woman who has the balls to stand up to trump. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu's State of the City address was a powerful call to action, emphasizing the city's resistance to federal overreach. She boldly stated, "No one tells Boston how to take care of our own. Not kings, and not presidents who think they are kings. Boston was born facing down bullies." This defiant tone positions Boston as a beacon of resistance against maga regressive policies.

Wu also championed social justice, asserting that "Justice for all means reproductive justice, gender justice, queer justice. Liberty for all means the all-inclusive freedoms that guarantee every person agency over their own body." I’m sure the smallest man in the universe took every word here as a personal slight.

By declaring "Boston stands with immigrants. You belong here," Wu reinforced the city's role as a sanctuary for marginalized communities. Her speech underscored Boston's leadership in promoting progressive values and standing up for human rights. I’m sure The Drop Kick Murphys would be proud!

Never heard of her. But then, I've never heard of Boston either.

I have just one thing to say to you Wu:
1) Wu woo !
2) Got plans for 2028? Buttigieg would need a running mate.
3) - hurry -

"I'd love to see him in the White House but he's unelectable - homophobia runs too deep. Add to that a non-white woman ....." S2 #1,817
I've long wondered what the conversation was like between Senator Obama and his beloved, devoted wife Michelle ...

"... You wanna run for W H A T ?!?!?!
Did you not get the memo Barack? You're a Black guy ! America doesn't elect Black guys president !! Go paint the garage. "

I wouldn't vote for Buttigieg because he's gay.
But I'd consider Buttigieg, contrast him to whatever candidate the Republicans nominate, and vote against whichever candidate is worse.

Spoiler Alert:
The Republican candidate is worse.

"I'd love to see him in the White House but he's unelectable - homophobia runs too deep.
President Lincoln was elected.
& not only was Lincoln popular, with superior popularity ratings persisting into the new millennium.
Abraham Lincoln reportedly has more biographies written of him than any other U.S. citizen. https://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/abraham lincoln

Add to that a non-white woman ....." S2 #1,817
J.D. Vance is not a white woman, they elected him didn't they? [bada boom]

note:
In U.S. presidential politics it's exceedingly common for voters to vote in the next election to address the problem of the then current president.

Nixon: "I am not a crook."
Carter: "I'll never lie to ya."
Regarding potential viability of a Buttigieg / Wu ticket, not impossible to imagine a 2028 rebound voter reaction to Trump / Musk / Vance war on D.E.I. - but - Overnight is an eternity in politics.

"In the United States, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are organizational frameworks that seek to promote the fair treatment and full participation of all people, particularly groups who have historically been underrepresented or subject to discrimination ... " More from Wikipedia

We may not know all the details this March 22 Spring morning, 2025. But it's a virtual certitude the Republicans are sowing the seed of their electoral defeat in 2028. Their only potential salvation, another Democrat circular firing squad.
