Photos, vids, etc ....

I can see you never watched the Xfiles
ooooh
Did, in the previous millennium. Still don't quite get the connection. But never would have made the connection on my own.

"I was not a messiah, but an ordinary man who had become a leader because of extraordinary circumstances ... " Nelson Mandela

"There are no great men, only great obstacles to be overcome by ordinary men." Sir Winston Churchill

“Everyday we make good in our motto: 'Promises made, promises kept.' We've kept more promises than we've even made.” U.S. President Trump 19/05/20

Greatness, readily recognizable ...

"Actually selling it won't affect Musk at all. All it will do is saddle someone else with a car that nobody wants." S2 #1,747
Indeed, not directly, unless Musk has a sideline business of used car lots.

The applicable "law" is "supply & demand".
If the used car market is over-priced, the new car market benefits.
When a used car model resale value plummets, so does the investment value of the same model new.

"Re #1,748
The sales of Swasticars are already plummeting - " S2 #1,749
Since before inauguration day?
For reason of automotive merit? Or political blow-back?

"... there are any number of other Ecars on the market so there is no need to buy one of these things." S2 #1,749
Market plasticity as distinguished from market elasticity?

"ELONMUSK" Democrats #1,751
- splendid -

Comic relief can be a compassionate interlude in time of protracted crisis. And President Trump has plunged the Western world into precisely that.

What Democrats need to understand is not merely that Trump won the 2024 election, but that the Democrats lost.
You can't laugh yourselves out of this one you Dembos!

Frantically brandishing political impotence this way may help ease the pain within your beleaguered caucus.

But it's not a viable substitute for a Plan-A.

Get one!
PLAN YOUR WORK
WORK YOUR PLAN

"She makes this look easy" S2 #1,753
It's nothing new.
Women have been wearing high heels since General Motors was a 2nd Lieutenant.

But I can imagine she sparkles after she clears the doorway.

note:
don't know why, but it's common among tradesmen to employ malapropism while discussing job-site bidness.
- fire distinguisher, instead of extinguisher
- floor joistses, instead of joists
- sparkle, instead of Spackle

Ghastly tat dood.

I had a brief conver ... w/ the Mom of a guy that used to play a 14' tall Uncle Sam in Independence Day parades.
Toy stilts often have tillers, long levers clung to for stability.
But the Uncle Sam costume stilts strap to the actor, as #1,753 demonstrates.

His Mom said he enjoyed it, but had decided to give it up, cause he didn't like falling.

Well Uncle Sam:
Brace yourself. We're fast careening toward Trump administration month #2, so named by visionaries with professional expertise about what to expect, based on month #1, nearly four years of "number two" performance.
"Pose a moral question to a professor and a plowman, and the farmer will answer as well or better, because he is in touch with the earth." Thomas Jefferson

Trump admin. reportage has included vid of a Canadian liquor store with a large section of empty shelf, where U.S. spiritual products were previously displayed for retail.
I don't recall mirrored vid of U.S. liquor stores w/ similar empty shelf space where Canadian brands were formerly displayed.
"When a country (USA) is losing many billions of dollars on trade with virtually every country it does business with, trade wars are good, and easy to win." Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump 18/03/02 02:50
note:
#1,757 reminds us how far we've progressed since so late in the previous millennium, before colors were invented, and so rapidly proliferated.
Also, does her wristwatch match her tiara? Canadians are sooooo casual !
