What I did not get at all is how anyone can say that everyone has not always lived under a nuclear threat?
Nuclear threats have always existed since nuclear weapons were created in the 40s.
The more other countries have produced nuclear weapons has created more of a deterrent, but the threat never went away?
The dissolution of the USSR did not reduce the threat, but seems to have increased it since the US has become even more aggressive?
Which is bound to eventually result in retaliation?

Social media have changed how humans interact.
Is it too early to know whether the net affect is to draw us closer together, or isolate us?

Either way I suspect it's degrading our face-to-face social skills. Problem with that, we didn't have enough to spare before we began to reduce it.
