S2:
You've been a welcome cyber-presence for years
Thanks for the reminder so early in the cycle of their absolute value.

And now, for the high school grads out there:
1 + 1 = fun ?

Some might find 2022 ominous presage of a wicked and carnage-strewn 2023.

Others do too.

Isn't it wonderful !

A shot of the Rum,
chased with a beer
can be quite fun
and bring good cheer

2024? Who cares? Won't need it much longer.

2025! here we go again

A primary component of happiness is appreciation. Those that have no appreciation are wasting food. "Count your blessings" for your own benefit.

Two from Twain:
I complained about not having any shoes until I met a man without any feet. - paraphrase, attributed to Twain
If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed,
if you do read the newspaper you are misinformed. -- Mark Twain
Happy 2025

Happy New Year Everyone when it comes! and here's a bit of advice!!!!!

A doctor on TV said that in order to have inner peace in our lives, we should always finish things that we start.

Since we all could use more calm in our lives, I looked around to find things I'd started & hadn't finished.

I finished a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiuminun scriptins, an a box a choclutz. Yu has no idr how fablus I feel rite now.

Sned this to all ur frenz who need inner piss.

An telum u luvum xxxx hic hic!!!!

Experts call ethanol a solvent.
It's rather a misnomer, it may cause more problems than it solves.

A year-end observation from an old man:
- It may seem paradoxical. The more deliberate the more determined the hunt for happiness, the more elusive happiness tends to be.
The outdoorsman's corollary, if your hands are cold, put on a hat. Cold hands mean loss of body heat. The human body can lose more heat from the head than from the hands.

For attractive lips, Speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, Seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, Share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, Let a child run his fingers through it once a day.
For poise, Walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed. Never throw out anybody.
Remember: if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find One at the end of your arm. As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

Though this quotation has been attributed to Audrey Hepburn,
Audrey Hepburn did not write it, Sam Levenson did.
Levenson wrote "Time Tested Beauty Tips" for his grandchild, and was one of Audrey's favorite poems.

Again seemingly paradoxical, helping others may for the sensibly balanced personality, provide more happiness, more durable satisfaction than a case of scotch. AND

do not misunderestimate the power, the virtues of an interesting concept. Post one here, and enrich the solar system.
