for fully defending Greenland from Russia, or China (or Trump), plus viable options for Trump to arrange sharing Greenland's resources, should Trump wish to do so. Preparation of this superior alternate could even be formulated with cooperation from Greenland, and its allies.
In short, offering Trump full benefit of friendship without the burden & responsibility of ownership.
Then what?
At the peak of the weekly news cycle, explode the plan to media, demonstrating Trump has zero to gain by executing on his threatened "hard way".
It would be possible for Trump to circumvent this effort. BUT !
It would at least shame Trump, announce to the world that Trump's true motive is not U.S. national security, but instead Trump avarice.
