Generally I'm not enthusiastic about double-standards.
That doesn't mean they don't exist.
It's possible to be egalitarian domestically, internally,
and to also not be internationally.
The result of that would be the situation Israel finds itself with today.
Jefferson outlined that reasoning in the 2nd paragraph of his Declaration of Independence.
Interesting point.
In the U.S. it's birthplace.
If that same standard were applied in Israel, wouldn't there be Arab / Palestinian "natives"?
I would not mind Israelis having a double standard for citizens compared to foreigners if Israel had always existed as an isolated community.
But the problem is that Israelis actually are 6 million mostly Asiatic Turks who illegally invaded the 13 million Palestinian native Arabs.
Which means their nationalism, religious beliefs, cultural pride, etc., then actually is unethical instead of being positive.
They not only illegal invaded, but are a minority who never paid for the land they took.
Those are moral and legal violations that make Israel disgusting to me, even though I am Jewish.
The Israelis propaganda is very common to be claiming that Palestine is fake and those 13 million are actually Egyptian, Lebanese, or Jordanians.
Which makes no sense at all considering we have census data going back hundreds of years, as well as genetic DNA testing.
It is Netanyahu who had no Mideast ancestry.
