"I have never read a single historical source that did not characterize the Ukraine as the "heart" of Russia, and Kyiv as being the historic capital of Russia." R5 #424
I recommend it.
"As far as the "global conspiracy" thing, it just like how all the media like about WMD in Iraq." R5 #424
It's too many years ago for me to recall such detail from memory. I can quote a few.
"Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt, that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised." U.S.President Bush (the younger) televised address to the U.S. March17th, 2003
- piffle -
This and many similar assertions made by President Bush (younger), VP Cheney, & Secretary Powell are outright lies.
During the Cuban Missile Crisis JFK provided evidence, photographs obtained from U2 spy plane overflights of Cuba showing Soviet missiles in Cuba.
Before the Iraq War, to trick the world into supporting GWB's casus belli scam Secretary Powell presented to the U.N. General Assembly "evidence" comprised of U.S. government drawings, artwork, of ostensible Iraqi mobile WMD labs.
- twaddle -
I don't recall credible news agencies with generations of journalistic integrity to protect, validating these fantastic delusions. iirc they reported, quoted the assertions made by the government officials.
"The point being that the wealthy elite want wars for profit, ..." R5 #424
That might explain the incentive for Airbus, BAE, Diehl, Rheinmetall, & Saab.
"... and the media is owned by them." R5 #424
And that can create at least apparent motive for incestuous journalistic inaccuracy.
It would not explain BBC, Der Spiegel, Reuters, The Guardian, & Wiener Zeitung keeping such secret for generations, jeopardizing their own brand.
In this case it does not corroborate global conspiracy. Ockham's Razor
Throughout history there certainly have been conspiracies.
But they are generally limited in time & or scope. The ostensible conspiracy you allege here is too failure-prone to survive this long. It's simply not practical, not plausible.
