I am slightly ambivolent since I know at least half a dozen women who I think lied.
It is not really that uncommon.

I wouldn't speculate about the % of such reports that are substantially deliberately inaccurate.

Do we have jury-quality evidence most rape reports are not deliberately accurate?

The double-negative is a shopworn tool of the deceiver.

I have no idea the percentage, but given the social system we have, men want to brag about sex, while the women want to deny it.
Given factors like alcohol, some women likely are not even able to accept reality over it.
And the consequences males face over even allegations, make it all very confusing.

I have 3 older sisters.
Deny in public, boast in private.

Wouldn't surprise me if some young women, impaired by benevolently intended efforts to confine her path to purity,
may have prevented her from learning how beverage ethanol can separate her behavior from her inhibitions.
