The essence of such satire is the fumble-headed American that can't even get the names right, and doesn't differentiate between the actual Watergate reporter, and the actor (Dustin Hoffman) that played the WaPo reporter in All the President's Men.
Credit for any similarity in appearance goes to the casting director, and hair-&-makeup before shooting the scenes.
