You know yours is a view that's marginalized outside Russia's own borders.
My somewhat more conventional / majority view * is the David & Goliath view.
President Zelenskyy's rightness or wrongness aside, the People of Ukraine demonstrate their convictions on the battlefield.
I'm no huge fan of industrial scale carnage. Does it make sense to assume they are?
Either we apply a double-standard, or Ockham's Razor we deduce they're applying the same standards of humanity we are,
and have decided defending Ukraine's sovereignty is worth dying for.
Consider who Putin has fighting for him. North Koreans, African peasants, many of whom Putin deploys to the most lethal battlefield environments of this War.
It's a pooh-pooh hurricane R5. Evidence the Cold War is quite as "over" as we had wished to believe?

The problem is that the US government is highly corrupt, and deliberately starts war for private munitions profits.
When one examines the Cold War, the US comes off badly in my opinion.
All the anti-Bolshevik propaganda going back to the 1880s is awful, since obviously the Bolsheviks were vastly more ethical and egalitarian than the Tzar.
Then after WWII, Russia was obviously in no way a threat to anyone.
They had lost 50% of their male population in WWII.
And it was the US government who lied and took credit for beating the Germans, when clearly we stayed out of the war until it was almost all over.
It is the Russians who faced and defeated the million man and 3000 tank force the Germans sent to the Battle of Kursk.
In contrast, the US only faced ancient MrkIV German tanks with our totally inadequate M4 Sherman tanks.
The evidence is that the US was actually the one at fault for all the conflicts against Russia.
There was no reason to try to install puppet dictators like Chang Kai Shek in China, Syngman Rhee in Korea, Diem in Vietnam, Batista in Cuba, Samosa in Nicaragua, Pinochet in Chile, etc.
And the evidence is the US deliberately subverted places in order to harm Russia.
Like how the US took over Iran in 1953 because Mosaddegh was too friendly with Russia.
We also created al Qaeda with the CIA Mujahideen in Afghanistan, just to harm Russia.
And our lack of values showed when than later we attacked al Qaeda without cause.
And the evidence is we are doing it again in the Ukraine.
Russia is not threatening the sovereignty of the Ukraine because the Ukraine never was a sovereign country.
It simply is part of Russia that the Old Polish Empire had tried unsuccessfully to invade.
So what Hunter Biden was told to do in 2013, was deliver bribes and weapons to the ethnic Polish generals in Kyiv, in order to illegally commit treaty violations that amounted to war crimes.
Not only did the US then cause the Azov Battalion to murder over 30k ethnic Russian natives of the Ukraine, and try to stop Russian use of Sevastopol, but also tried to get US nukes installed in the Ukraine, so that a nuclear first strike could not be detected until after it detonated.
While the media is claiming that the Polish government of the Ukraine is doing well on the battlefield, I think that is nonsense.
The war in the Ukraine is not being fought in person.
It is being fought with drones and guided missiles.
Which the Ukraine never had.
Meaning those are US drones and guided missiles.
Which the Polish soldiers of the Ukraine would have no idea how to use.
So is it likely to be US soldiers doing almost all the fighting actually.
And that is both illegal and unethical.
And is most likely going to have 2 very bad results.
One is the US is going bankrupt, with Trump adding another $2 trillion to the national debt each year.
And the second is that is Russia ever feels failure is possible, its only remaining alternative would be to nuke the US before we get a chance to install our nukes in the Ukraine.
