NATO wasn't founded until 1949, well after both WWI and WWII

Don't see how you got the Allies starting WWI (admittedly it's been a long time since I took high school history so I would like an explanation). And the same goes for WWII

I said NATO was started "from" the Allies who started WWI and WWII.
Of course they were not NATO yet in WWI.
But they were the colonial imperialists, and included the US instead of Spain.

WWI was started by Russia telling the Black Hand, the Sebian Secret Police, to train Princip on how to assassinate Archduke Ferdinand of Austria.
But France also invaded southern Germany, in revenge for losing the Franco Prussian war 50 years earlier.

What caused WWII was the Treaty of Versailles after WWI, stealing half of Germany.
Poland, Czechoslovakia, etc. were really part of Germany.
The Allies also got Germany to surrender in WWI by illegally starving them by cutting off food.
The Allies also stole all their ships and colonies, like in Africa.

"Trump took a $400 million gift from Qatar and called it patriotism. The same country that funds Hamas handed him a luxury jumbo jet, taxpayers footed the bill for the overhaul, and now it's headed to his personal library when he leaves office. This is the most expensive vanity project in Air Force history and nobody in MAGA land bats an eye." RA #3,143
Has Qatar's "gift" been purged of all clandestine spy gear?
Can Trump provide any conclusive proof that this purge has been 100% successful, and that this aircraft is secure?

That's not to dismiss Trump's unseemly acceptance of this asset.
But there may be much more at stake here than simple diplomatic protocol breach.

What for example would the Trump administration do if the U.S. were to go to War in the Middle East? Unlikely?

The only point to a presidential library is so that people can go to it and satisfy the Freedom of Information act.
How does a $400 million plane help people examine documents in the presidential library?
So claiming the plane goes to the presidential library seems fraudulent to me?

Supposedly that's been done.

Have to admit that it's not clear that it's even possible - there are hundreds of miles of wiring in a plane and who knows how many million parts.

Good point.
I was thinking at first that all they had to do was to scan for RF transmissions from any bug.
But it would not be hard to make the bug remote control and have it only transmit when told to.

Judge apologizes to alleged would-be Trump assassin, drags Jan. 6 suspects into rant over jail complaints

A federal judge on Monday decried the prison treatment of President Donald Trump's alleged would-be assassin, and apologized to him for restrictive confinement imposed by jail staff.

Cole Allen, 31, has been in federal custody since prosecutors say he attempted to gain access to White House Correspondents' Dinner ballroom and kill Trump along with other high-level government officials.

Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui told an attorney representing the Department of Corrections (DOC) that he was "fascinated and disturbed" by Allen's treatment in jail. Allen was placed on suicide watch when he was first imprisoned.

Suicide watch protocols mandated that Cole remain 24-hour lockdown in a "safe cell," have no phone access to call or receive visits from anyone other than his legal team, according to the motion. His lawyers also wanted him to be able to obtain ......
