In a speech at a casino in the battleground state of Pennsylvania on Tuesday, the president told supporters he had "no higher priority than making America affordable again".
The Obama administration participated with Britain, France, Germany, China, & Russia, to monitor and insure Iran would not develop a nuclear weapon.
President Trump insulted this agreement, with little if any cogent criticism of it.
Trump claimed in abstract terms he could do better, and unilaterally withdrew the U.S. from it.
The - better - that Trump has substituted is two separate wars on Iran, resulting in both clogging the Strait of Hormuz, and plunging the planet into a Trump-manufactured fuel crisis.
Now Trump's stated objectives are to achieve what Obama had already achieved peacefully before Trump.
We use the term "checks-&-balances" to suggest the U.S. federal government is intrinsically robust enough to rescue itself. Trump has proved
it is not.
Conforming to the enumerated parameters within the Constitution should have prevented former President Trump from being nominated for a 2nd term.
We flagrantly disregarded that in both primary and general elections.
Article 3 of the main body of the Constitution may nibble away at the onslaught of the Trump / MAGA horde, but not enough to spare humanity the above cited disaster.
There are additional indications of Trump's fundamental unfitness for his office.
