Of all the people to have to man-'splain such notorious reality to a U.S. president, unified Germany's Chancellor !

I've long been skeptical about ones own birth nation being a source of pride. But bitter reality and this second Trump administration has taught me,
it can be a source of shame.

Either Ms. Miller believes this assertion,
or not.

Scientifically she's wrong, conflating climate with weather.
Politically it may seem expedient, but at risk of cataclysmic consequence.

Miller calls it a "sham":

Trump's is not the first U.S. presidential administration to get out of step.
In Trump's case:
Trump seems to enjoy improvising, making public statements extemporaneously.
That makes things more difficult for Trump's subordinate officers.

Interestingly enough I had someone try to tell me that climate change is solely due to the sun. After all, when we were kids it was yellow. Now it's white.

No point in arguing with someone like that.
