Halloween Candy: which to eat first? The worst first? The best first? Random?

ok
As this Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023 is the other food-themed holiday, a ritual Autumn celebration of the harvest, gotny food insights for Thanksgiving, 2023?

U.S. trivia:
When the tradition was set the U.S. was largely agrarian. Early November election day was chosen because it was largely after the harvest, but before deep snow (which could keep some voters from their polling place).

Got a recipe to die for?
A tradition worth reporting? You cook "stuffing"? Do you use bread crumbs? Ever try rice instead? Cook it in the bird? Or ... ?

Halloween gifts are often:
- low nutrition
- provided by strangers, or casual acquaintances

Christmas gifts more likely to be from friends, family. Strings are attached.

What's a gentleman to do if given plaid pants for Christmas?
Wear them?
Where? If he doesn't play golf, at the bowling alley? Cleaning out the basement?

- sneezon's greetings everyone -

BCR: the "tartan teen sensations from Edinburgh"

Not exactly an accusation, but this makes me feel old. If these guys were U.S. tax payers they'd be on Social Security by now. Right?

Glad Vivaldi didn't live to see this.

Yellow suspenders reminds me of Jim Nabors.

note:
The Beatles used to dress ...
The Young Rascals had a uniform (for at least one album cover)

It's not quite the big band era fashion, but it's a marker along the path ... Thanks for the blast from the past S2. I had forgotten.

- bonus: topic drift?
Before age 10 there were two "rock-n-roll" radio stations out of NYC.
Those that listened to such music on radio from the tri-State area heard it on one of those two stations.
The affect of this was more shared, common experience. When stuck in traffic, not unlikely the hot chick in the car next to yours was rockin' to the same radio station you were. This occasionally became apparent when, in a traffic jam, you and the driver next to you though having no direct audio contact, might both be laughing at the same joke the D.J. told in live broadcast.

Then rock went FM, and the culture changed with the art-form.
Similarly, a few decades ago (before proliferation of the smartphone) friends used to enjoy company face to face.
The smartphone has imposed the display screen as an interface.

Thus technological innovations have contributed to isolating us from one another, just as air conditioning, and the automobile have.
