UPGRADE NOTICE :

CitizenVoice.us is keeping our URL, https://citizenvoice.us/
No change there,

BUT !

The CV.us server will be moving from NJ to VA ...

From our WebMaster:
Creating the server would take 1-2 hours ... Then the files and database will be transferred over after that's done (CitizenVoice small without many attachments so it wouldn't take too long like 2 hours to transfer files). Once DNS propagation completes for everyone, they'll be able to access the site on the new server.
DNS propagation varies for everyone (it can take up to 1 minute or up to 48 hours).

"Propagation". We'll have no impropa gation here !

The following is a little "down-time" humor to enjoy while @CV.us upgrades ...


We had a power outage last week. My PC, TV and game console all shutdown.
My car was in the shop, and it was raining.
I couldn't shop or golf so I talked to my wife for a few hours.
She seems like a nice person.

After a little over a day this topic / thread had over a dozen views. I'd wondered why. CitizenVoice Webmaster explained:

"As for views, there's bots that crawl sites. So bots (search engine bots, those AI bots that learn from your content, web scraper bots, etc) would normally lurk and read whatever content you publish. It doesn't always have to be a real human contributing towards the view count." Webmaster

I'd imagined Citizen Voice might have attracted a thriving lurker community. Possibly so. BUT !
Possibly not.

Update:
CitizenVoice.us is now on the new server, BUT !!
there may still be some cyber bread-crumbs leading back to the previous server, visually indistinguishable from the new CitizenVoice presence.

We're looking into solving that problem.

Meanwhile, welcome (back) to CitizenVoice.
