Based on a variety of delusional absurdities a persistent political cohort within the U.S. resists vaccination. S a v v y Republicans including Minority Leader McConnell (R-KY) initially remained silent. But when the obvious became known to McConnell, political ambition compelled McConnell to breach the phalanx of immunological ignorance.
Why did McConnell finally give in to common sense regarding COVID-19 vaccinations for Trump Republicans? McConnell understood, unvaccinated Americans were dying disproportionately, increasing the democratic power of McConnell's political opposition.
So Republicans are now enlightened? Not so slow.
Now the Republican-packed supreme court is seeking to weaken or reverse Roe v. Wade. And Republicans find themselves back in the mire of self-defeat yet once again. How so?
If an American woman's right of choice is usurped, it would be an inconvenience to wealthy Americans that would then have to travel to an allied jurisdiction where such OB/GYN services are safe and legal. BUT !!
Women without such resources & options may be forced to carry the pregnancy to term. The result? Wealthy Republican women can still control their own bodies, reflected in their lower birth-rate. But poor Democrat women will not, and therefore will multiply disproportionately.
This is today's GOP. And in those cases where Democrats were unable to defeat Republicans at polling precincts across the U.S., Republicans are defeating themselves.
Looks like a merry Christmas for Democrats.
