President elect Trump is selecting members for his 2nd presidential administration.
Trump's choice to head HHS: Robert.
Kennedy241114a.JPG

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is difficult to distinguish from satirical fiction in the first place.
But according to CBS News HHS Secretary Kennedy (if confirmed) will advise all U.S. water systems to remove Fluoride from public water.

This is beyond farcical.
Fluoride was added to public water supplies for therapeutic benefit. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26066938/

It seems the worm that ate some of Kennedy's brain from the inside may have eaten more than originally estimated.

In any case this real-life Trump administration agenda item precisely matches a 1964 Stan Kubrick farce titled:

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

From the IMDB plot summary:
Paranoid Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper of Burpelson Air Force Base, believing that fluoridation of the American water supply is a Soviet plot to poison the U.S. populace, is able to deploy through a back door mechanism a nuclear attack on the Soviet Union without the knowledge of his superiors, including the Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Buck Turgidson, and President Merkin Muffley.

Those that enjoy farce may feel right at home with the 2nd Trump administration.
But to persons of sense, this is a confluence of exceedingly dangerous elements.
And if the Constitution's 14th Amendment isn't enforced, human history may end before the mid-terms.

"Smoke 'em if you got 'em."

Don't forget that as head of HHS he'll oversee the bodies that are responsible for approving new medicines (in particular vaccines). Given his anti-vaccine stance you can expect to see vaccine development come to a halt (or at least seriously slow down) - after all, why develop vaccines if they can't be used. Just think about the comments we heard about the COVID vaccines when they were first developed (everything from "these aren't real vaccines" to "they were never properly tested" to "they're causing blood clots" to ....)

The Anti-Vaccine Propaganda of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Or how an environmental lawyer led a crusade against vaccines and spread lies to marginalized communities

What happens when a vaccine skeptic leads health policy? Ask Florida

President-elect Trump says he's going to let Robert F. Kennedy Jr. "go wild on health." That has many pediatricians nervous, because of RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine rhetoric. When another vaccine skeptic, Joseph Ladapo, became surgeon general in Florida, some doctors there say vaccine hesitancy got worse.

"It's because people in power, like our surgeon general, as an example, are pushing this anti-vax message," says Dr. Jeffrey Goldhagen, a professor of pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine and president of the International Society for Social Pediatrics and Child Health.

Vaccine hesitancy has been growing in Florida. When Ladapo was appointed in September of 2021, the routine childhood vaccination rate for kindergartners was 93.3%. It has now dropped to 90.6%. That's the lowest rate in more than a decade — and it's well below the threshold needed for herd immunity against ....

How many times can you peel an onion *?
RFKj seemed to be a constructive member of society when providing legal services, for example:
At the helm of the Waterkeeper Alliance is its founder, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who now serves as its president and senior attorney. Kennedy’s early work with Hudson Riverkeeper set lasting standards for environmental law and inspired the creation of hundreds of similar organizations throughout the United States and abroad, helping to fuel the keeper movement. With Hudson Riverkeeper and the N.R.D.C., he won historic victories against massive corporate polluters such as Con Edison and General Electric, forcing the former to abandon development plans that would have destroyed critical spawning grounds and the latter to contribute to cleanup efforts for P.C.B.s and other poisons dumped in the river. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/201...ptmDpJ3dyvez8vX645VytymTi4eOZt-U_jFmvbBCCmeKm

Point the accusatory finger of righteous indignation at RFKj. But even if he's mad as a hatter, blame him?
This solar system is infested with loonies, & a few of them are persons, RFKj for example.

But blame him? RFKj would be a non-issue if Trump hadn't selected him.
Blame Trump? Trump would be a non-issue if the electorate hadn't selected him.
Blame the electorate? Who else? Fluoride in the drinking water?

This may not take RFKj off the hook. But it demonstrates the problem is far broader than one wobbly bloke with a dead worm in his head.
