Reminds me of the adoring sons concerned about their Mom being lonely since her husband, a Broadway actor died.
So to keep her entertained they bought a rare theatrically trained talking cockatoo.
Her loving sons imagined their mother's delight when the cockatoo would recite its Shakespearean repertoire.
They even arranged to have the pet delivered by singing telegram.
But Mom didn't respond as expected. So as unintrusively as possible #1 son dropped Mom an e-mail inquiry.
Her terse reply: "Bird scrawny but delicious. All best, Mom"
