Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene [MTG] says Maduro capture is 'the same Washington playbook' that we're 'sick and tired of'

The Republican congresswoman has previously bucked the president, and her last day in Congress is on Monday.

MTG has elevated the outrageous to genuine Trump levels of absurdity, Jewish space lasers starting U.S. wildfires, etc.
She has argued that Trump has not focused enough on domestic policy, saying later in a CBS News “60 Minutes” interview that “for an ‘America First’ president, the No. 1 focus should have been domestic policy, and it wasn’t.”

Expert opinion regarding this arrest / capture varies.

But those believing it's now over may be due for surprise.
Trump has set a new precedent which one may imagine may have negative future consequences for the U.S., trade partners, and allies.

On that topic

Former Vice President Mike Pence has issued a dire warning that Donald Trump will be impeached if Democrats win this year’s midterm elections.

"I'm well known but I'm not known well." VP Mike Pence on ABCthisweek 23/08/20
Impeach Trump again ?
And the benefit that would accrue to the People from this is ... ?

Here's an idea:
Instead of continuing to do what hasn't worked, hasn't mattered, why not try enforcing the law for a change?

Constitution of the United States of America
ARTICLE#14: Ratified July 9, 1868
SECTION3. No person shall ... hold any office, civil or military, under the United States ... who, having previously taken an oath ... as an officer of the United States ... to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. ..."

Trump calls the U.S. Department of Defense the department of war, returning to a standard in use before WWII.
Trump calls the Gulf of Mexico the gulf of America.
Trump says he wants Panama, Canada, & Greenland.
Trump has already attacked Iran, ostensibly eliminating Iran's nuclear weapons program. There's an argument to be made for this, as a nuclear armed Iran could be a headache for the world. BUT !
Now Trump is talking about involving the U.S. in Iranian domestic politics, specifically regarding the unrest there today.
"American people are friends of Liberty everywhere, but custodians only of their own." John Adams

Trump has attacked ISIS in Nigeria.

Trump has already invaded Venezuela, & captured Maduro.

Trump is threatening Iran.

And multiple sources report NATO may be pressed into War against the U.S. if Trump attacks Greenland, or perhaps such U.S. invasion may dissolve NATO entirely.

Trump campaigned on America First.

But Trump has proved himself to be so untrustworthy to our allies that U.S. intelligence sharing from our former allies in Europe and the Caribbean now leaves U.S. vulnerable.
And Trump has threatened to withdraw the U.S. from NATO. So if Trump's invasion & conquest of Greenland is successful, and NATO dissolves as a result, it would effectively be an additional reward for Trump.

Problem is, it endangers our former allies, former trade partners, and it greatly empowers our most formidable enemies, including Russia and China.

Commenting on NATO President Trump said: "I said it was obsolete. It's no longer obsolete." April, 2017

"You don't pay your bills, you get no protection. It's very simple, "Trump said at a campaign event in Conway, South Carolina. "Hundreds of billions of dollars came into NATO, and that's why they have money."
Trump claimed to have had a past conversation with an unnamed foreign leader about what could happen. "One of the presidents of a big country stood up [and] said, 'Well, sir, if we don't pay and we're attacked by Russia, will you protect us?'"
"I said, 'You didn't pay, you're delinquent,'" Trump said. "No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want." Trump 24/02/10 source: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-russia-nato-defense-funds/story?id=107136736
